I'm very happy to have received the recognition. As @chriddi mentioned, nobody nominated me so it feels more significant to have been selected!

Almost everybody else (if not everybody) could be considered a "safe pick" - all in the visible places (learning challenges, contests, etc.) - all of the places that I'm not!

I'm finding it difficult to find the right words - hopefully it'll inspire a few people to go their own way and away from the crowd.

I've probably worded this badly but I think you understand the message even if the words aren't quite right.
