Oh yes, that's a good habit. I was about to tell all newbies to please keep a note on my posts that provided the tips and tricks. Perhaps you can also provide them the link when you are connected with anyone new. They need to know so that they will not get lost. I always tried to advise whenever I stumble into one. All new people I have encountered I have given a direct link to your account encouraging them to follow you for tips and tutorials. As it was given to me from the beginning and I think it should be passed on.
Perhaps if you had time you could make a post and put all the links to each tip and trick in one place, and keep editing it as you go so there is a quick link page to exactly what they want to do. Just a thought.
