Steemit.com Advertising Network - It Would Spread the Wealth
If Steemit.com creates a Google Adsense the distribution of earnings may trickle down to a lot more people. Right now you can make from 50 cents to $1000 dollars per 1000 views on Google Adsense. If Steemit does this people with not to many votes but 1000 views to their article could make $5 dollars or a lot, which would keep them in the ecosystem. It seems to me that a lot of people will join Steemit and then wont make any money and then leave. An advertising network would level it out more.
Furthermore because there are tags a Steemit Google Adsense would allow long tail keyword authors better pay. I have used Google Adsense and Google Adwords for the last 10 years and am very satisified. I estimate Steemit probably receives over 1 million pageviews a day and that is significant as a lot of the articles are not so trivial and are related to industries such as travel, tech or finance.
A Steemit Google Adwords would bring quality advertisers to Steemit. If there was an affiliate program for a Steemit Adwords it would be huge and would get marketers interested especially if there was a revenue share.
