The children seem happy and that is enough of a judgement I think. A scientific controversy that has actually been puzzling me for a while is that as we learn, the more some neural pathways are strengthened and the more others die so that we have much fewer connecting neurons in the brain than children. So, children can actually have more neural synchronicity than adults with their learned rules. But then, the purpose of observing rule is to live more fully not less. So, as adults, should we maybe unlearn what we have learned?
