Hi, sorry, I didn't read the whole post but I will. Just two questions: how can one exchange steem (or steem dollars - I don't know what we should and can actually exchange yet) into real dollars? And I noticed that even while nobody is voting on my posts the sum in dollars rises all by itself - that happens on my powered up posts. And, also, when I posted my first powered up post, I also noticed that the amount of votes and the sum in $ on my previous (not powered up) posts proportionally rises too (I suddenly got around +50 votes on each on those posts), so I don't understand how that happens.
You need to convert to Bitcoin using an exchange like Blocktrades or Poloniex. Then you can sell the bitcoins on a service like Localbitcoins or some exchanges will let you convert Bitcoins into US dollars. Just Google Bitcoin to dollar conversion as there may be different services available depending on your local laws.
