If something exists in the real world, it will exist on the internet (often times in a more extreme manner)

yes. it is the disconnection from the real world that drives the extremeness I think. Lack of 'realness' to actions.

It is the same with everything in society. People complain about it but at the end of the day, it is our actions which created it.
