The Beautiful 876
Jamaica the land of wood and water, my beautiful island home, the birth place of reggae, Usain Bolt, Bob Marley and Marcus Garvey. The melting pot of cultures from India to Africa, Jamaica is home to a diverse population, which our motto so accurately captures: Out of Many One People. In Jamaica we don't see race we see people, we see Jamaicans. Being a Jamaican fills you with pride knowing we are such a small island 4,243.6 sq miles to be exact but we have such a big impact in this world. This photo was taken in St. Mary one of our many beautiful parishes, standing on this cliff with the wind blowing in your face and the smell of the ocean filling your lungs gives such peace and happiness. So if ever you are feeling down and out of it just picture standing on the edge of this cliff in Jamaica with your hands spread wide apart feeling the wind on your face while basking in the warmth of the sun and it will sure to bring you back to your center that area of peace.
