Sorry, I'm not sure about the details but I remember that Steem (or Steem Power) is paid out automatically every week and just shows up in your balance without any sort of 'activity' showing up in your wallet. I know that I had read some article on Steemit ... actually here it is, seems like the same one I had read before..
