This will be very simple and disorganized post but it will be helpful, even very helpful! 

Most times, it more about how much we see/can see than all the looking/searching

Even when you are given the INTEL, how much can you accomplish with it?

This is mostly a simple post to help open the eyes a bit more because again, it is about how much we can see, thus, to help us see just a bit more, i will keep this post disorganized a bit and we will skip the theories, so that we can try to apply more of foresight.

Here is what i want to quickly say: 

The masses are coming! Not whitewalkers; not winter!

Looking at simple events that are going on on steemit, are about to go on and steemit and events going on outside of steemit and especially, considering that we are still at the early stages of steemit's mainstreamity there is glaring evidence that the masses are coming!

People are taking note of steemit. 

The constant awareness we have gradually create on here by means of our steemit posts and on social media etc is leaving lingering marks and over time, people are beginning to establish within their minds that steemit isn't a hype and they will flock in.

Unlike other crypto-endeavors and blockchain, steemit has use-case and value even by virtue of its social community alone. There are tons of apps being developed on the steem blockchain too and overtime, beyond all the earning etc, people will need a decentralized app built on steem for serve their daily needs. (Note: people use Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc even without the possibility of earning). 

So unlike any other crypto-blockchain endeavor out there, scale-able free-to-use steem will get heard either via steemit @dtube @utopian or an upcoming IOS flappy monkey game app etc

Well, the masses are already flocking in. This time, they are asking to join in. It's all obvious on Facebook etc

Yes and people who try to sign up on steemit and experience delays are bothered about it as they are eager to become steemians.

Simple images like this below, now have way more impact than they once had and stirs so much more talk than used to be the case and even eventual sign ups. Look below:

Just yesterday alone, the image or thumbnail above generated hundreds of comments about steemit and several (new) have signed up or are waiting for the accounts to be confirmed, courtesy of these conversations.

There used to be a community-like social network called TSU that came to a halt and we were all once there!

Hahaha and some haven't joined steemit but they are following "steemit" closely to see where it is headed. See this screenshot below:

In the #philippines for instance, steemit is growing really fast. I sit on the tags curating each day and the numbers are drastically increasing. 

Just recently, a new member joined from the Philippines that has close to 300k followers across her social media network. See below:

I tried to tell her to do a selfie-verification as she has these many followers, to which she obliged to and she is here.

What am i saying?

Especially at these early stages of your journey on steemit (if you are new), your sole first aim should be to power up! See, SP (Steem Power) is getting scarce, can't you already feel it? 

What i am saying is this, once recently, steem was around priced at 1 USD (US dollar), meaning that you can have got or bought "500 steem power" for "500 US dollars". 

Today, you will need around 3500 USD to buy 500 steem power and if steem becomes priced at 100 USD in the near future, you will need 50,000 USD to buy 500 SP. 

Steem Power is actually powerful and there is great incentive to have it: 

• e.g imagine how much good you can do if you can give out 2 USD to 10 or more people everyday
• Imagine how many more people every day will seek or value your own attention 
• Imagine how much more visibility you will get on your creation
• Imagine how many services you can pay for/buy directly by means of steem power
• etc............

Alot of the "missing piece of the puzzle" when it comes to steemit success is in steemit's history. So, when you arrive on steemit, do you go back a bit to research this history or pace things enough to experience it? 

See; just months ago, steem was priced at around 1 USD! i.e with 500 SP (at 100 percent upvote), you would have been able to reward a post around 0.09$ but today at 6 USD per steem, the same 500 SP (at 100 percent upvote) rewards 0.25$ 

(Note: that 0.25$ and 0.09$ above is not USD but is a valued at the current price of steem and SBD)

Now without going into much Mathematics and theory it is possible to say that, if the price of steem reaches say 100 USD each, this same 500 SP, maybe able to give out around $1 or $2 (at 100 percent upvote)

SP (Steem Power) is where i see the real scarcity happening and it is a beauty! Once people fully realize the beauty of SP, they will so buy into it. 

Imagine a company that normally spends 5,000,000 USD a year in AD(s) budget that isn't that organic and can easily constitute of only impressions and clicks (not sales/conversions) and instead of putting all that budget into AD(s), they come here on steemit, a community of reputable great minds and where the masses are beginning to flock to and they buy SP power instead, these are some of the gains:

• SP is still their money and rises with the price of steem e.g if rises from 1 USD to 10 USD, 5 million can have turned to 50 million
• Their SP increases overtime just for holding it
• They get visibility, when they upvote their posts and organic visibility in the search engines
• They can use earnings from the same SP to foot conventional AD budgets 
• Amass followers in line with the influence SP carries
• Have a ton of audience ready-made and potential partners, investors, customers, clients etc
• They can distribute rewards, pay for services, delegate tasks using their SP to distribute rewards
• etc

The thing is, if you don't gather SP now, when will you gather it? When steem is 10$? 

Hahaha, SP is getting scarce; can't you see?

See, steem tokens is not money, so vest it in Steem Power and keep it. Instead of rush to spend it, why not build SP till an extent and your SP can make you additional income on its own and give you additional influence as well as you use it to distribute rewards. 

When the community is large enough, say millions, you may not even have to go out of steem into FIAT to purchase goods and service. 

Steem is a protocol that allows the creation of apps too. With thousands of apps for every use-case and a community of millions of people, steem can easily become our medium of exchange e.g pay for a vacation with steem because there are now so many apps accepting steem or external websites with steem integrations etc

Apart from this, many new accounts want to vote on steemit at different percentages, to maximize voting power, so why not gather your first 500/1000 SP. Now, it is harder to gather this amount of steem even from author rewards because the price of steem is currently priced at above 6 USD but now is still a very good time to because Steemit's Mainstreamity is in its early stages

The eventual payout for the post above was around $21 and he wondered why he got only 3.62 SP. 

See; when steem was around 1 USD, he would have easily got a whooping 21 SP from that payout but now at more than 6 USD per steem, he got just 3.62 SP and with steem at 21 USD, he would get only 1 SP for the large-looking $21 (I don't have the right $ symbol on my PC, so i use USD to refer to the US dollar)

Too, many new steemians bother about the "you have exceeded bandwidth" message. They feel this is an issue with steemit. However, this is a measure by steem to prevent or reduce on possible DDOS attacks e.g when a person creates many bot accounts and program them to carry out endless blockchain transactions to weigh it down. 

Thus, new accounts need to have a measure SP to keep interacting with the blockchain removing the incentive for DDOS attacks. 

So if you are just joining steemit, your first sole drive should be to raise your steem power because you know what "there was life before steemit". 

The day and two days before you joined steemit, you ate and paid bills and if you didn't find steemit the next one month later, you will have paid bills and eaten. This is a valid illusion!

This is coming from someone who has done suffering like crazy, who has starved and still starves like crazy.

50/50 Vs 100 percent powered up posts

At this point, to gather more steem, it is best to go 50/50 (post payout option) as this way, you can get way more steem. 

SBD was created to be pegged to the USD but is currently not, so choosing the 50/50 payout option will allow half of your author rewards or so, to be paid in SBD and with SBD currently priced at around 8 USD, you can use that to buy steem on the internal market to power up with, thus, getting way more steem than you would currently make if you had powered up straight-up

Powering up also removes liquid steem from circulation, making it scarce and has impact on steem-price-rise.

So for minnows who just join, it is a special feeling to receive your first payout from the Internet but i tell you, the most utmost value from the first cash out is not even in what you could buy with it. The utmost value according me. is the continuous inspiration we draw from it to keep keeping on.
