Steemit Is Not Noah's Ark But Even For "Potential Success On Steemit" And In Life, You May Need To Be Present!!! "Present Yourselves Ever-Constantly".
The Untalented Curriculum didn't die. I didn't die either!
I simply went into the box, to come out of it again, more fortified!
I do want to end this year strong. I had big plans for the end of this year and even after my mum passed, these plans got bigger meaning and essence but i have been a bit slow and behind schedule.
I will not tire out though and regardless, we will end this year strong and on a high.
We will still get to do one untalented contest, however small or gianormous before the years runs out.
In the meantime, let's talk a bit more about success or breakthrough in general. I speak of "life" most times when touching on the topic of success/breakthrough but for many tangible reasons, one being that "life" is the secret recipe to success in every aspect of life; till date!
Now "life" is a curriculum that comprises of alot e.g the Creator Jehovah, humans, the streets, books, nature, steemit etc and every aspect of life comprises of just the same e.g steemit, relationships, business, day-to-day living, happiness, success etc
It does require a measure of depth to understand this thing called "life"; even then, it isn't fully graspable because there will ever be aspects of life, that will only be understandable by the Creator, for we are mere mortals.
Without this depth, you will understand the lines just as they are but you may miss out on context and the full extent of its application (in between the lines); you may be better be able to stick to rules than fully grasp principles e.g the Bible didn't say "don't smoke cigarettes" but it does say "not to defile the body". Now, there is conscience as well to tell you "what's the gain" and some comedy science to tell you that "the most dangerous butt on Earth is a cigarette stick" but apart from that; "a measure of depth and an understanding of "life" itself" as to know that there are bigger things than mediocre merriment and responding to "each impulse".
Now, must everyone be deep?
Plain no, as we were all made differently and process things differently and i tell you, life is even a bit easier. Plus, i am mere dust, so why judge and condemn someone, when i love instead; plus, why shouldn't i forgive you a hundred times.
Ofcourse, it does take a measure of depth and a special understanding of this called "life" to chose to forgive someone a hundred times.
What am i saying?
Many times, many of the solutions to challenges on Earth are not in outer-space (the nth solution) but are findable here on Earth, perhaps, even "just next to you" in the first obvious simplest solution.
It does take a measure of depth to see these things!
When it was said, "don't eat of the fruit in the middle of the Garden but you can eat of every other fruit", it was that simple yet it has cost (us dearly) all of humanity "life" today.
Simply take charge and abate your impulse for a minute or perhaps, go pluck all the pluckables everywhere else and chew as you wish and as you do, be belly-filled and sleep off!
The solution was that simple and perhaps in the first simplest obvious solution but again, you may want to ask: "why was there need for a problem (requiring a solution) in the first place. Again, life is that complex, that only the Creator, can answer some things.
Going further, after Jesus' fasted for 40 days, there was utmost "justification for gratification", if he had decided to turn stones to bread but he chose to take charge of his impulse and that was the solution.
Sometimes, the answers are just right there!
If you have provenly done fasting for 40 days and 40 nights, then what's in another 30 mins!
Again, depth is sometimes where the answers lie.
e.g If i have seen "life", then why should i fret, get agitated and instantly react, when the next person steps on my toes. Hahaha, i may just walk away silently on this particular day or turn my other cheek!
Hahaha, there are bigger things to life! The higher you, the deeper it may get!
Let's go steemit and success in general
What if i tell you that:
When it comes to steemit success, even success in general, sometimes all that was ever needed is presence.
Ever constant presence!
The above easily can look like a very shallow sentence but looking closely, it just may have a far deeper-reaching meaning and it so does!
Yes, even in someone's (a potential helper, investor, partner etc) mind, you may have to stay ever-present!
e.g earlier today, someone from USA asked of me, upon chatting with my sister. He spoke to her of whether i would be interested in overseeing a branch of his USA company that he is planning to setup in a developing country. Hahaha, i am not an overseer and i haven't talked to this person in so many ages but even after these many years, i may have stayed stuck/lingered in this mind and it can have been for something as simple as the name "Terry" or maybe more!
My sister didn't know if i will consider it, so she had consulted with me earlier today, but then she gave me his contact and told me to reach out to him in conversation and her reason? "So that i can keep on present in his mind".
She said: "contact him ASAP before he starts to think of someone else. Even if it is just to be in touch, please contact him, so that he keeps you in his mind".
Even on steemit!
Yes, many join steemit and can get disheartened by events, governance, inability to earn rewards etc but at least stay ever-present.
Stay with me!
Most good things, only become really good when proven.
Deep! Even love can have a mediocrer, shallower meaning when it is not proven. Yes, love is self-sacrificing, long-suffering and patient.
Eve may have been said to have fully truly loved, if even in the midst of pressure (a really simple pressure in this case), she had stayed present in her act of loving, of her own free-will. Deep!
To stay present on steemit without apparent gain, does take a measure of depth (substance, self-sacrifice, selflessness, love, character etc) but again being "present" (the first simplest obvious solution) may be all that we have needed for success here, moreso, than building gigantic infrastructures to seek whale-help or jackpot.
Perhaps, the jackpot is actually in our staying present here.
In general, there will always be times when we tire out a bit and can't create content but our presence is on steemit may just be as important than content creation.
It is important to me!
For one, there is "no loss" and with the steem blockchain, anything (great things, breakthroughs, opportunities, partnerships, jackpot etc) can happen, at any moment, on any day!!!
Infact, something nice is certainly happening right now as we speak somewhere on steemit e.g if you have some good amount steem power in your wallet, take a note of it right now e.g Check your current amount of SP, then refresh your browser after some seconds and tell me if your SP remains. You will have noticed an increase, because another incentive of powering up is that it keeps increasing.
Too, steemit is a community of reputable great minds (potential helpers, partners, investors etc) and even in these minds, you may have to stay ever-present.
There is ton of people entering steemit daily and a ton, who have history on steemit e.g older whales, minnows, dolphins seeking these same help as well, that sometimes, the real competition (if there really is any) is in how much one stays present in the minds of potential helpers than the other.
Persistence pays off!
Jehovah knows our needs yet he tells us to keep asking! Deep! (As even in "asking", we may need to be proven e.g consistent, persistent, deeply-rooted, of-substance, unshaken, free-willed, determined, exerted, pleaful, heartfelt, enthusiastic etc to be seen or established "too be really asking".
Just maybe!
Steemit is not Noah's Ark but even in Bible times, there were many cases, where all that was needed was being present. Infact, in Noah's preaching, he wasn't asking people to adjust their morals etc. He simply asked that they entered an ark, for their will be impending rain and they will need a boat. The first simplest obvious solution was the actual solution!
Yes, sometimes "being present" is all that was ever needed!
With the steem blockchain, there is even more reason to be present, than there is anywhere online. It is fresh, a newer type of technology, intriguing, has the best capabilities blockchain-wise, it is valuable in solving real world problems, it is free, it is the mainstreamest of blockchains, it is easy-to-use etc
Plus, there are many reputable great minds on steemit from all works of life, each incentivized to cook up knowledge (redundant and existent knowledge) and beautifully erupt it for free; and in reality:
the only difference between the successful and those aspiring to be successful is "knowledge".
Now if we see the news and read books and see videos and go to school and spend an average of 5 years of our lives on the INTERNET, then there is almost no loss in just being present on steemit.
On steemit, breakthrough-INTEL can pop up/out anytime, any moment and in some cases, for split seconds!
e.g
- Once, sometime ago, here on steemit, there were posts indicating that the price of ETH crashed momentarily from $319 to 10 cents in seconds on the GDAX exchange and some of those who may have taken advantage, may have gotten quick hints, while present on steemit.
- And many who got extra tokens for the resulting split bitcoin-based blockchain, may have been here present on steemit, to have found out!
- Once in the past too, when steem dollar was around 1 dollar, it had spiked momentarily to around 20 USD each and several who may have had timely knowledge of that, may have had to be present on steemit.
The ever-missing piece of your puzzle may be in this post or in the very next set of posts, lined up on your now-feed!
The whale-hood that you seek, can happen on steemit in a jiffy but would you have been present here on steemit, thus, likelier to be present in the minds of loving steemians?
So just when you tire out and decide to take a break from steemit, how can you stay present on steemit?
There is a ton of ways to stay present on steemit, even in the backgrounds. Not everyone is bound to post on steemit. Ofcourse, there are ton of developers who don't post on steemit but how about non-developers?
@libert would tell me, "i have analysed myself and i have noticed that i am not good with posts but i have a feeling that my calling point on steemit is curation and i told him to build that game.
Yes, curation can very much be talent; can fetch you rewards and can keep you present on steemit and fresh and ever-green in the minds of steemians.
Steemians know, when they have been touched by a loving upvote.
Whales can spot you eventually as a fan and become your fan, starting to support you constantly or can spot you as a valuable curator and can contact you to give you opportunities e.g (delegate curation tasks to you or ask your views or advice on the state of the steemit community etc) or may decide to follow your vote etc

Reading and commenting
This a very fun activity in reality and easily keeps you "present" on steemit and in the minds of steemians (potential helper, friend, brother etc)
The days will still fly but never emptily by as you will have been present in a hub where INTEL can pop out any moment!
Plus, you will keep on evergreen/present in the minds of reputable loving steemians. (Keeping your potential for potential help almost evergreen)
Note: Even in someone's mind you may have to stay present. We aren't the only ones in the world!

There are times I miss posting because of a lot of things on my plate but writing is my passion. I consider it mine. A thing nobody can take it out from me. I get satisfied when I compose. The only thing I can do is to keep on encouraging them because I care.

I actually never realized that he told him to just enter the ark, and he never told them to change their ways. You're too deep brother. Being present is being important. That's what I am always doing. I try to be present everyday. And even during the busy days and the hardest times, I am here even to post just one blog post. I make sure to be present here. God has given all of us gifts. Sometimes we call them talents. Nothing is small if God accepts it
When you serve the Lord with the ability He has given you, you bring glory to His name and blessing to his people.
Frankly speaking, this alone should be enough to prompt us to use our gifts.
The Holy Spirit moves us to walk in the will of God. Several of you may have witnessed an urge to start using the gifts and abilities God has given you more. Be it writing, encouraging, singing, witnessing, whatever it is. God gifts us all.
Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly. Romans 12:6
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God?s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
Notice the bible talks about 'us exercising the gifts' or 'using them to serve others'.
Some things matter more than others. If you resist the urge that God is placing upon your heart to make full use of the gifts and calling He has given you; others will pay the price of not receiving that which you were given to bless them. Read 1 Peter 4:10 again.
Your refusal to use your God given gift will be questioned by God on the judgement day.
So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:12

One of the vital lessons I have learnt on steemit so far is living for humanity which has been inspired by @surpassinggoogle severally. If only we all can swallow such mindset, using our gifts as listed above and finances in the way that improves the living of our neighbor. The man next to you who is less than you in status is probably there around you for you to be a lifter. @surpassinggoogle is an incarnate of a genius, a pillar of many subcommunities whose contributions to the growth of steem blockchain is an encyclopedia on its own. I had dug deep into his blog to dig up some of earliest writings he authored when he was a nobody on steemit and found those ones as educative and inspiring as his present day writings.

Now those words are deep! I am glad you went down further to recognise that not everybody is a genius to assimilate such words at a seemingky faster rate than another would. I think i fall in the former category. One who isnt quick to grasp the literal/figurative essence in deep lines such as one above but luckily, i still have an idea on the message you are trying to pass accross.

Better to be on steemit than any other social media. Asides the monetary compensations, there are lots more to gain on the platform! Well, some of my friends joined for the cash aspect but when they were not gaining much, some just went back to their normal lifestyles: facebook and all. I am glad i remained a presence still in the steemit community. I believe i could someday touch the lives of others through being present. In my own little way, i am trying and vying for that dream. In my own little way, touching lives. I have become, in my little way, a steemitestimony. Now i ask myself, if i had given hope up, what could have happened to those destined to find their paths through the little candle i should Lit? Or better still, what would be the fate of those who woukd still be assigned under my umbrella when i eventually get to that position i'm aspiring? For this only reason, i am sticking put.
If there is anything i am grateful about, it is that Steemit has been affixed to my lifestyle. My friends wont do without asking about steemit when asking of my welfare. They do know i love it! I love my presence in it! I love that i could be an agent of change and effect change. Steemit is not in any way a Noah's ark but where explorations are only limted by your unexplored potentials....

Every human being conceived carries with him or her that innate ability that is uniquely his or hers. It is like our finger print. Lots of people may carry the same ability, but the way we use ours will make us unique.
These talents, gifts or strengths are our diamonds. We need to dig them. Nobody can dig them for us.
Once we find them, we should remove the dust. Keep polishing them. The more we take care of them, the more we can recognize the other diamonds in our lives.
Soon, our gifts and talents, just like diamonds, will shine brightly and will serve us well in the long run.

There were times that I was discouraged of my little earnings here in steemit, and I decided to just leave, but then when you supported me with your upvotes I got recharged, thank you. But of course the knowledge I got whenever I am present here is already a great blessing to me...So I decided to stay and be present for the rest of my earthly life here in steemit.

I think steemit is the best place to learn. Here is my point, all I ever did in school was try to pass exams and impress my lecturers who never really cared if I passed or not, I would even spend my hard earned dime to achieve this goal. Here on steemit I have learnt for free and made some good money too. What I have learned on steemit is not limited as there are great minds from different fields of life coming through on a daily basis. So I totally agree with you here sir.
