It's frustrating, and more so because I really enjoy upvoting and commenting on posts. For many people starting out on here, getting a few "real" comments (like yours thank you) makes it worth the effort because you know someone had a look at your work. It should be quick and simple, these constant and growing issues are making the whole platform hard work.

I agree, most of my friends I know would leave once the site started to act up. The friends I do have on Steemit came from another Social Media site that also went through "Beta" stage and we are used to the ups and downs of growing the site. The one thing I am surprised about is the lack of communication about updates or even acknowledging known issues. Being that this site is all about quality content and information, I would think communication from Steemit would be clear and concise. I unfortunately can't remember who it was but they mentioned the phrase "eating your own dog food" which means to use your own product to further develop it. Either way, it will be a fun journey to see how Steemit turns out in the future. P.S. I'm a coffee guy too ! Do you ever run contests ? A coffee contest would be fun for everyone I think !
