I am pleased to announce that recently we have punched through a milestone of 300,000 Registered Accounts on Steemit and as we hit this number I am sticking firmly with my Minimum Target of 650,000 Registered Accounts by Year End.
It should come as no great surprise though that this Target comes with a huge proviso and that we need more MARKETING..!!

Many people are those who understand it at first what this platform is about they are not leaving it for sure and those who had no idea will always wonder about this platform later too : )
This logo gets alot of attention, I get asked everyday what is it, this opens up the door for me to talk to them about steemit and steem, and explain what the platform is about.

Does any one knows what is going I have 5 friends who signed into Steem for more than 2 months and they are still waiting for the confirmation email. Any clue? I really will appreciate it THANKS

I agree, I think we should definitely hit 650,000 by the end of the year. The popularity of steemit isn't slowing down any time soon!
Why is the price dropping with all these new users and other cryptos seeing solid gains? Nobody has been able to answer this yet.
"Why is the price dropping"? It isn't. The price is going up..!! This was less than $0.10 in March. It has gone up over x10 times since then. STEEM is still very Bullish. Stephen
That does make me look foolish lol. But seriously, I have been active for around two months and in that time the price went from mid $2 range to getting close to a dollar now and even dropping below a dollar in that time frame. For a platform that is booming with new users and activity that other cryptos have seen in the past two months is what I don't understand. Yes, if you invested 4 months ago you are thrilled I'm sure.
I think that a marketing plan must give the motivation to all the current steemit users to get involved. 300,000 accounts can be doubled tripled easily this way.

No. An account is an account. Bots or people. As far as I am concerned bots are just as important as real people to prove the system. Sure we need more people than bots, but some get hung up on bots being detriment to the system, I don't. Activity it what counts. Stephen
