Hello there fellow steemians. It's been a while since I last posted. So voila!!! Here we are today. First of all, a big thank you to all those who stop by everytime to read,comment and upvote my posts. Lots of love❤ from me fellas.

I posted earlier this month about the basic facts I've learnt since about Steemit since I signed up. And today is not so different. Actually, today's post is about how the Steemit platform seeks to unleash the greatness and potential locked up in every man. Some, we know of, others we do not. Without wasting much time..let's get in on!!

Everyone's got something..

Yeah... Come to think of it. Everyone is pretty special in their own unique way. We got friends, family, co-workers, colleagues at school, etc. Everyone of them has unique traits we identify them with, the genetically inevitables and the society influenced. Some of them are smart and serious, others, sarcastic and funny. Either way, each one of them is unique. The point I'm trying to make here is that, everyone is different.. The painter sees the universe with different set of eyes and sees colours in ways we could never imagine. The musician melts our souls with sweet melodies and sparks out deepest emotions with words we could listen to all day long (actually, I listen to "Bird set free" by Sia, everyday. It just inspires me). That being said, so do we all have that special spark in us; that unique God-given talent we might have found(lucky are those) and not found(Steemit will do that for you).

Cut the crap...how does steemit relate to all that?

Let's get to the real deal. So where does steemit fit in unearthing talents? Or making us better versions of ourselves? Is it some Merlin or Zeddicus(who's more powerful by the way..lol) ?
Well, for starters,Steemit is that one social media platform that actually pays writers for the work they create. Be it writing, or be it photos, it all contributes to our daily bread. When you join Steemit, there are tons of stuff you hope to write on. Perhaps, you were a writer already. A freelance story writer or a poet perhaps, or you're that kind that writes as a hobby.Perhaps also, you do photography and now you want to share your work and make some cool money. You see, the thing here is that, "If you're good. You're good". Your earnings come from what you post here on Steemit. So whether you are here for the fun or the money, the quality still counts.
So how does Steemit make you better?

You do magic you never believed you could do...
So you joined Steemit,been posting about sports because it's your favorite subject yet you make very little. One day, you decide to switch lanes and you post a song review. Waking up the next morning, you had over 200 upvotes and numerous comments and already trending!!!!. You're like me??? Yeah..you did it!! Sometimes, that's how we discover our talents; unconsciously. Until you try something new, you would never know how good you are at it. We see many of such switches on Steemit. Because you don't want to sit behind and watch all the rewards go to others, you try everything,every subject,every tag and it just pays off sometimes, rewarding you with cash and discovering a new talent.

Your writing skills come to test here on Steemit

There are tons of posts here on Steemit but only the best do well. The writers don't get the work up in a minute or two. But sometimes, the rewarding posts we see are as a result of probably days of planning and hardwork. To produce the highest quality material, you need to sharpen your writing skills, learn how to combine photos and format text to give your readers a great time reading your posts; almost making you a professional blogger or a chief news editior..lol.
And when it comes to content, your knowledge about a said area come to play. How your tight your grasp is about your topics of interest will make you the "god" among the men( that is, those writing about the same topic as you). And to be a "god", your knowledge should be above average. This means, you will forever strive harder and put in greater effort to always stay on top by reading, researching and learning. Because the mind needs books as much as the sword needs a wet stone.

Your socializing skill sharpens..
It's a social media platform. Meaning, people interact. Not everyone has the skill of proper socialization or communicating with others. Sometimes, you just meet this cool girl you like, and OMG, she's so boring. She doesn't know any cool stuff, can't make jokes or say anything that could make a conversation last for even a minute. While some it could be a social or psychological problem, others just lack socializing skills. Yeah..you must be sociable to survive here. And in the end you're forced to learn to be and in my opinion, that is much way better than being a "don't come close to me".

And on and on it goes...

You probably got the whole idea by now,yeah? Steemit upgrades our software versions everyday. Makes us better humans through this unique "paid for socializing and educating" social platform. We learn, relate and share knowledge, and in the process, consciously or indeliberately increase our knowledge and sharpen and shapen our social interactions. You probably never knew how creative you could be, or you never scored high marks in your English-language class, yet you earn thousands on Steemit as a result of your impeccable English. Perhaps your English teacher should review your test sheets..lol. Keep steeming, keep the fire burning and strive for greatness. Steemit is an encyclopedia of the people, by the people and for the people. See ya!!!
