Lamborghini SUV By LamborghiniThis New Lamborghini SUV, with some awesome design, high tech features and amazing performance is a real treat for cars lovers. Lamborghini recently confirms that Lamborghini SUV will be available in Market by 2017. 

 The Lamborghini Urus is a concept SUV designed by Lamborghini and unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on 23 April 2012. It is planned to be put on the market in 2017 for the 2018 model year. The name comes from the urus, the ancestor of modern domestic cattle, also known as the aurochs.The production Urus will differ from the concept by not using Lamborghini’s hallmark naturally aspirated V10 or V12 engines. Instead, Lamborghini has developed a new 4.0L twin-turbo V8. Lamborghini claims this engine is solely used by Lamborghini, eschewing the idea it is simply a retuned version of Audi’s 4.0L V8 that is used across the Audi lineup, and shared with Bentley in the Continental V8 coupe and Flying Spur V8.The Lamborghini Urus SUV concept would be much lighter than some other SUVs because of extensive usage of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer, although it is based on the same platform as the Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne, and Volkswagen Touareg. The Urus Super SUV will feature a 584 bhp (435 kW; 592 PS) turbocharged 5.2 liter V10 engine by Audi that includes an electric motor with plug-in capability. The Urus has a front-engine, all-wheel-drive layout. The Urus is approximately 16 feet (4.9 m) long, but only about 5.5 feet (1.7 m) high. The Urus will have a top speed of 205 mph (328 kph), making it the world’s fastest SUV. Lamborghini is still considering this a concept car and are making decisions about tire size and engine type. The Urus seats four people.

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is one of the most beautiful cars when it comes to automotive design. Since the first generation was produced in 1954, the 300 SL became a dream car for many. After 58 years, the 300 SL is still a legend. 

 Even though it may not exactly look like it, but the contemporary Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is in fact the spiritual successor to the German firm’s original 300 SL in both ‘Gullwing’ Coupe (built from 1954 to 1957) and Roadster (from 1957 to 1963) forms.Slimane Toubal, a professional clay artist from France who has worked with several automakers around the world including Audi, Honda and more recently, at PSA Peugeot-Citroen’s China office, used his free time to create his own vision of what a modern-day 300 SL should look like.The result is a design study that is more heavily influenced by the styling of the original 1950s 300 SL compared to the current SLS AMG.Toubal penned both a coupe with the classic ‘Gullwing’ style doors and a roadster model, which unlike the soft-top SLS AMG, uses a retractable hardtop.Feel free to browse through the photos below for a more detailed look at the designs and then head over to the comments to tell us what you think about the 300 SL concepts. 

 eXtremes by Marianna Merenmies

Futuristic crossover styling meets space-age materials in Marianna Merenmies’ 3-passenger concept, “eXtremes.” It’s is an exploration into the use of Aerogel, a material often used in space exploration, as a lightweight, insulating automotive shell. The material, which is 99.8% gas, can be used for insulation against severe temperatures in areas like the Siberian Tundra that are susceptible to extreme weather. 

 Target area for this crossover is Russia, but the extreme conditions present there (e.g. cold, heat, bad roads, noise, pollution and criminality) can occur in a future in any part of the World due to climate change and growing populations.eXtremes is lightweight, aerodynamic and expressive as a finetuned sportscar providing superior protection and driving capabilities of an off-roader. As a superior insulator I chose to use aerogel, which is more known as an insulator in space shuttles. Aerogel is also combined in the carbonfibre frame to increase stiffness in key areas and to minimize frame torsion without adding extensive weight.eXtremes is a 3-seater offering luxurious leg space in the rear and a sports car style experience in the front. When operated by automated drive in city centres passengers are using the spacious yet protected lounge in the rear seats and when driving off-road or just for fun middle seating position for driving in front is used.
