SLOW TIMES ON STEEMIT

For some months now, the steemit platform has slowly become empty of content, good or bad. As the prices dropped, the posters have faded away from the feed and as a result there is more space to catch the attention of the huge SP owners who still pay attention to content on the platform.

Are creators making use of this opportunity? Are they making posts after posts, experimenting and growing their accounts? Not at all. Everyone is waiting for the hike in prices so they can sell some crypto and love large for a moment. This baffles one.

Expert crypto traders all say that the best time to buy crypto is during the downtrend in crypto trading. We all know this truth. Now there are those who have the funds to buy crypto. There are those crypto enthusiasts who make good money from trading even in this dip but there are those like you who do not have any crypto besides steem and sbd and the few you have, you got from posting.

The question then is, why stop to post when the only way you can gather crypto is through steemit. You have never traded on an exchange but have rather sold your crypto for food. I am not saying that this is a bad thing, after all I live in a country where jobs are scarce and young men and women have resorted to thinking up ways to make money.

What I feel we have missed is this, every money making process has to be able to evolve or expand with time. You cannot continually do the same thing and expect a different result.

What this implies is that you who come to the steemit platform with the intent of making money through posts, you have to realize that if you do not invest at some time in this blogging thing or even in crypto on general, you'd be basically eating the seeds you are supposed to be planting. When harvest time comes, do not blame anyone for your negligence.

I have slowly started trading my steem with other currencies and though it is a slow going, I am learning and I am adapting. Yes, I have not made a million dollars on the exchange but I know how to buy low and sell high; is that not the basis of the game we play; profit?

You should not complain. You should use this time well. Invest in yourself and you will have cause to smile when steem seeks the moon again. Peace.
