I would like to receive your comments and ideas about this.

When you are following someone whether here on steemit, youtube, instagram, etc. Do you prefer a single niche or topic about their content or is it okay to have multiple audiences by having multiple topics?

EXAMPLE

  1. Following @starplatinum, you will only see posts about cryptocurrencies and anything related to cryptocurrencies.

  2. Following @starplatinum, you will be able to see content from his different passions like cryptocurrency, investments, cooking, cats, and others.

@t3ddy, good point. One problem is becoming a generalist, a Jack of All Trades, Master of None since your focused on several things at the same time. Well, I guess it also depends on the creativity of the creator.

I think there are pros to both. If you have one field of expertise you will definitely draw a crowd that is like minded, but you may exclude others that are not interested in this field, that you might draw with other interests.

I prefer multiple topics as we can get multiple type of audiences to upvote us. Sometimes even the tech guy would upvote a photo of a pizza becuase he would be mesmerized . You get my point right.
