thanks @starkerz it was great, I am going to do another meetup for Crimbo if you're interested, probably be the first week of December, will let you know closer to the time what date and that.
Hope you're feeling better, I felt shocking myself, been ill most of the week but still plodded on through.
I'm hoping next time more people come, I would like to hire a venue and fill it with steemians, that would be a great laugh.

Sounds like a great plan! but if you truly want to fill a place with steemians, approach a couple of the best acts on steemits got talent or steemit open mic, and start telling the most prominent steemians about it early in order to garner support and get the word out early. sorry about your cold, you probably got it from me. its typical, bloody manflu ;)
@starkerz you are the man, I never thought of promoting a meetup by using steemit got talent/open mic this is a legend of an idea.
Thought I was dying thursday night, I have never been so sick in my life, my wife had to help me into bed as I could bearly move as i was in so much pain, I thought it was stomach flu when it was happening, I slept most of friday, missed my dentist appointment and went to work battled through my shift then woke up saturday feeling a lot better. so i don't think it was manflu so your of the hook haha. cheers for the great idea mate. love it.
