Update on Bitcoin Cash (BCC) from Bittrex and Poloniex
"If you have a Bitcoin (BTC) balance on Bittrex during the BCC UAHF time on August 1st, 5:20am (12:20pm UTC), you will be credited the equivalent amount of Bitcoin Cash (BCC) on a 1:1 basis. i.e. 1 BTC on Bittrex held during the on-exchange snapshot will get you 1 BCC "- states Bittrex on the webpage.
The Poloniex team is not sure if they will support Bitcoin Cash. "Even if two viable blockchains emerge, we may or may not support both and will make such a decision only after we are satisfied that we can safely support either blockchain in an enterprise environment. If we decide to support and make available derivative blockchain tokens after a blockchain split, note that if you have your tokens on loan at the time of a split, we cannot distribute the derivative tokens to you, the lender, as you would not possess them. Such loaned tokens can, and often do, leave the platform. " - said the Poloniex team in the recent update. They suggest you to withdraw your Bitcoin if you don't want to leave the decision to them.

first it was out of exchanges and to Wallets where u cntrl pvt keys. Now it's move to bittrex, to get the 1:1 bcc. Which is it?? If I keep it in my exodus wallet will I still get the bcc equivalent.
You can keep your coins either on a wallet you have a private key of or on an exchange which supports Bitcoin Cash. Bittrex does, Coinbase doesn't and Poloniex is unsure 😂 So, it's up to you to make your own decision. Notice that most exchanges will freeze withdrawals on August 1st untill it's clear what happens next
I guess exodus doesn't support BCC, but it's better to check it
Was I supposed to take a snapshot of my BTC on Bittrex or something? I still have BTC on Bittrex but it seems to be frozen....can't buy or sell it....and I see no BTC / cash??? Yet???? Did you get your BCC cash yet or am I the only one waiting and wondering?
Yes withdrawals are frozen, I can see a BCC balance on Bittrex but the wallet is under maintenance. On coinmarketcap Bitcoin Cash now appears as BCH and bitconnect as BCC ...

Just resteemed this as it's only a few hours away and it looks like Bittrex will double your bitcoins for you when the fork happens.

Sold al my altcoins yesterday morning for this upcoming event on Bittrex and now only hold BTC till the 1ste of aug. I think 31 july many will follow this and there will be a altcoin crash and btc spike. Hope i can welcome this free coin the 1ste of aug.
Thanks for the heads up. Still a bit wary of leaving funds on any exchange. Something to think about.
Lets say you have 1 Bitcoin on Bittrex but its invested in alotcoins at that snapshot moment...does this mean no Bitcoin cash??
I guess you should have some bitcoin on your balance. Basically you sell your bitcoin when you buy other coins so you don't own bitcoin anymore. What's written on your wallet page is an estimated value in BTC, but it doesn't mean you have BTC unless your btc balance isn't zero

Yes you should get exactly the same amount, as Bittrex states
