There was a hardfork today. That's why things were kind of screwy.
Hive is the new fork of Steem. It's basically a rebranded carbon copy of Steem (at least at this point). The difference is, the Ninja mined stake of Steemit Inc., along with the sock witnesses and other accounts that voted for 2 or more of those witnesses didn't get the airdrop.
As long as you didn't vote for any of Justin Sun's witnesses, You'll have the exact same amount of Hive tokens as you do Steem tokens. All you have to do is log in using the same keys you use to log into steem. Your tokens are already in you wallet. If you haven't been following along with the news of all this, I'll post a few links so you can see this isn't a phishing scam.
I would recommend using PeakD. It was created by the Steempeak team. Log in using Peaklock.

thanks man you really helped me i was panicking because i couldn't withdraw and sell my steem. I logged in there things are as you say thanks again because i couldn't fid much info here and on google
