Although we had a little dip there over the 4th holiday, (a lot of people offline and out doing summer stuff) We have def been maintaining an 2500 a day average over the past 3 and half weeks. Looking at the steady growth rate from beginning of the year and seeing a drive on the platform for high quality original content really fueling the overall strength of steemit, you have a motivational and competitive mixture for a lot of word of mouth and internet buzzing as a large number of people are actually learning to make a "Standard Online Income" that is really paying the bills.
I think there will be a lot of word of mouth promoting happening this summer and by about mid fall through the end of the year I honestly think we could see a huge spike in new users say even up to 10000 a day, because people will be looking for ways to get more money for the holidays especially christmas.
I love your high inspirational forcast for a 650k users by end of year. I feel like the numbers and a little speculation on human behavior and the move of the crowd tell me we could see 1 Million users by December 31st 2017 :)
