I think it depends on how much of a trust score you hold when you do the upvoting.
See I don't have any at all.
Everybody starts off at 25 and it has stayed that way until you start posting more and have upvoters who hold more trust whom are doing the upvoting to transfer that trust on to you in your content you are writing about.
