SEARCH FUNNEL, AN EXTENSION TO PERFORM SEARCHING BETWEEN MULTIPLE PLATFORMS
The world of browser extensions is extremely broad and is one of the main reasons why users choose between one browser or another. We recently discovered Search Funnel, a new extension for Google Chrome users so you can search across platforms quickly.
Once installed, we will see the extension icon appear in the upper right corner of the browser, and clicking it will bring up the menu that you can see in the image above. Then we just have to type the term we want to search and select the platform on which we want to do this. That way, Search Funnel will perform the search where we indicate. Basically, you can search Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, IMDb, YouTube, Spotify, Pinterest, eBay, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Reddit.
What's more, you can also choose whether the results are shown in the current tab or in a new tab. At this point, it is important to keep in mind that we are talking about a new extension, so any lack or error should only be resolved in the next updates. Even so, the concept is interesting and the idea is promising.
Without a doubt, Search Funnel can be an interesting tool for all users who are accustomed to searching frequently on various platforms. We recommend you take a look at how it works by downloading the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
