Is Steemit DYING or is this the CALM before the STORM?

I have been on steemit for over 6 months now and think it's a very forward thinking idea!
The platform started out a bit weak but it continued to update and iterate, which is always great for a growing company! I am a pretty bottom line person and always like to speak about the issues and what's on my mind because it's probably on many people's minds on Steemit and they want direct answers as well...
- What can we expect from Steemit in the next 6-12 months as far as new tools and updates?
- Have you hired a marketing or PR company to assist you in promoting Steemit to the mainstream media?
- Why is steemit plummeting in price? Is there something going on that all of the Steemit supporters should be in the know about? Is it really a good time to buy or is it going to a penny?
- Is steemit stil in Beta? Why?
- The silence of the owners and influencers on Steemit is very concerning to me!
- People will start powering down if we do not get some answers!
- PLEASE UPDATE US AND BE HONEST!
These are just a few questions to kick this off... I really hope that this can be a jumpstart for anyone who has any questions or comments to please not be afraid to ask the questions that are on your mind...
