A good summary of Cheetah Bot
The Steemian @shortsegments wrote this article “Steemit-for-newbies-part-5-the-cheetah-bot-my-short-summary.
@shortsegments wrote this very good article, the fifth in a series of articles explaining Steemit’s complexities and how to make money very quickly in Steemit. I have read this article and the previous three. This one is about how to avoid plagiarism and other crimes on Steemit, which will ruin your reputation and cost you money. I recommend this article and the first four @shortsegments wrote because they explain many things about Steemit platform that would take months to learn, but with these articles you can achieve a high level of understanding quickly. This article is a good one about the Cheetah bot and explains in detail how to avoid ruining your reputation with plagiarism.
What is Cheetah 😺🤔
Cheetah is commonly defined as a “bot” defined as “a software program that performs a certain function” that might comment on your post.<
Why does Cheetah comment on your post?😼😳
This “bot” Cheetah will claim that she found similar content else on the web. This suggests you copied someone else’s work and pasted it into your blog article, which is usually considered plagiarism.<
Ideally we all publish original works, but there are times when we will need to research topics and use information from sources. This is certainly acceptable, it is important to cite the sources of written information, always rewrite it in your own words, never copy in paste or if you do place the information in quotes using the markdown tools. Always cite photo sources in a photo Credit section.
Follow these rules and be an honored member of the community.
