Ooh, how is traveling with a baby? I can imagine it's quite complicated and you have to carry around a lot of stuff! haha :D

Oooh myy, that sounds wonderful. Where did you live?

Nah, it was awesome! The Indian people are just so warm, especially with kids, it made it very special the way they treated our boy! And not much gear to worry about, we used a tuk tuk as a changing once :) My wife @suitcasemama might have gotten a little tired of the cheek pinching (of the baby, not her!) but I loved every second of it :)

I lived in Aceh, doing post tsunami work, then on Nias Island doing post-earthquake work. I love Indonesia and Indonesians! I've also been to Bali a handful of times surfing (please let me know if you want to do Bali, there are definitely more pleasant experiences than just going to the famous spots) as well as the Mentawai islands and @suitcasemama and I honeymooned in Lombok. Love that place, always plotting to go back, especially east of Lombok...

That's amazing and great to hear! Lovely to hear that everything went well with the lil' boy too :)

Aah, looks like you're quite the post-disaster worker. Great job! I bet it's quite rewarding ^^

I am definitely going to Bali. FIrst of all to check it out, second of all my next flight is from there, hehe. Would love to hear your recommendations - I am all ears! Or eyes in this case :D

Okay Bali: I personally avoid Kuta/Seminyak unless you're really looking to party. The sand is grey and the beach is featureless, even though everyone goes there. Maybe to check out for a day, but much more striking scenery and beaches are in the south, the Bukit Peninsula. More relaxed, chill vibes. Think surfers instead of large men in speedos :) Specific beaches in Bukit: Uluwatu has striking cliffs (also a monkey temple and traditional sunset dance to check out), Padang Padang is a nice spot, Balangan is one of my favorite beaches, very chill. Rent a scooter and explore!

Ubud, up in the hills is nice too, just don't expect solitude, it's very busy these day, but worth a visit.

Hm, this is making me want to go back to Indo! I hope you enjoy it!!! :)
