The user role and how Steemit could change the narrative for social media | Creators be informed | Steemit learn from failed platforms

I'm proud to say Steemit has grown beautifuly since the short while I've been gone, reasons why I enjoy Steemit and currently am using it as my only social platform is because Steemit not only has better content you can walk away with but also a better community, one which upholds the values of rich original content so that creators can become owners and profit off of that which they write, help produce and make.
Furthermore when steeming (I think I've just invented a word) on Steemit content is not marketed nor is it fed to you like some avid consumer who takes in content rather you walk away with content which in my humble experience is time worthy although this does largely depend on what mediums you follow. Unfortunatley social media, has largely adopted to a motto of one where the user literally gets used (pun totally intended) manipulated and pawned with.
Emits my speculation came a video posted by anonymous shortly after facebook hit over 2 Billion Users Around its 3rd quarter in 2017, In it former Facebook executives blatantly told the public how they exploit people using psychology and sell that information on to marketers.
The problem with this is an explotation of people who dont know their being exploited, have you ever wondered this. If anyone knows the feeling of going viral lets say over 1 million + views on any platform do you ever ask "Okay I've had a million people lay eyes on me that must mean I'm popular" we'll not necessarily, your not only popular but you've become a popular tool, a thing to be pawned with. For instance you're gasping at how viral you went... Executives and stake holders in social media are gasping at how much they've made over you, that's right you'r millions of view's equates to millions of dollars they've pocketed in cash, off of you.
So who's the winner? the tool or the one who gets the job done via the tools? Here we have conflicting theories of who's entitled to what, the content creators that help build the network by attracting followers or the platform which facilitates the grounds for such activates. I will illustrate this analogy to help it make sense.
Imagine a slightly bare and dry restaurant patio with things cluttered and not necessarily appeasing to visit, so comes along a gardener a florist and a designer, than the patio garden becomes a thing of beauty.
Would it than be fair to not pay the gardeners, florists and designers for their work, or is it best to profit off of the visitors they've attracted for yourself and not have them, the people who've help't built it profit?
Such notions do unfortunately exists Facebook being the most populated social media site dosen't pay creators for content hence the lack of quality. It's not a place to get creative with.
YouTube however does, but no where near to what they deserve, YouTube has come under scrutiny lately for its lack of adequate checks to content creators one such example is Josef Holm a YouTuber that ended up learning that his immensely popular channel racking in 5 million views wouldn't even cover his production costs, Josef runs the YouTube channel StandUpBits where his net $2,000.00 profit wouldn't even cover his $25,000.00 expense.
If this is what you're expecting making content than we'll done.
Furthermore this is where Steemit could come fix this horrible gap in equality and quality, I did actually title this
My notion is the content creators ought to be given what they work for because quality really is attractive and that's how you build, you build and distribute and you build some more, Steemit does this lovely and the fact that it's decentralized (funds controlled by the people) means I can be sound in judgment knowing that anyone literally anyone from Iceland to North Korea can net what they work. That's bold, that's fair, that's the future. This also influences bold figures and whistle blowers to rise up from society with the support of the people.
A message to Steemit " Don't become like the platforms of the past, don't sell out"
A message to content creators " Build quality, build honestly & share"
A message to humans that yet don't exist "Where are you guy's chilling?"
A message to my dry cleaners "I'll pickup on Friday 12PM"
Something that will blow my mind "Being able to see a color no humans ever seen before"
Now the discussion begins what are your thoughts let me and everyone else know you'r opinion matters, join the discussion, comment up-vote & re-steem!
