The key for Minnows success is comment
If your not that good at making a blockbuster hit blog and and curation reward wont take us anywhere either. Then comment is our key to success in steemit.
Lets take a look at my personal experience, if you would check my stats @sinx22 you could see that the highest paid blog i made is $0.60 and with that i get 0.299 SD and 0.090 STEEM POWER
Lets try curation reward, I upvoted a blog that i beleive that has a good content and would probably earn some amount. I manage to place my vote on 5th place
and timed it at 15mins. after it was posted taking 50% of penalty as they say. BTW i am a minnow with 3.5 SP. The said post really did well and earned $1000+ and payout came i earned 0.001 SP.
Dont get discouraged fellow minnow we have a better chance of earning on comment. I will use the same blog for example. In that same blog i post a comment and i was the first to do so. I manage to get 11 upvotes and earn me $0.81
that gives me 0.407 SD and 0.149 STEEM POWER. This might be small amount but it was the biggest payout than any of my blog (yet) but it states that we could have a better chance from giving comment.
conclusion
-I am not trying to say that you stop making blog, you should try everyday so you could improve and one day you will make it in the top.
-I am not saying you should stop upvoting, The more reason for you to upvote the post you give your comment so that more members could see your comment and upvote it.
-This also dosen't mean you should spam comments, make your comment also qualitive.
Our strategy
Once you saw a post read it and read it carefully and understand what the author wants to tell in his blog, After that give your best and most honest comment then timed your upvote the way you prefer it.

Interesting read. I will continue to blog, and I will continue to vote, and yes, I will continue to comment, as well. I can't say that I have earned much at all (about $0.09). I am not here for the money, but perhaps it will be a nice bonus down the road. I do like that STEEM is essentially an incentivized social network, and in the end, I think (and hope) that it will result in higher quality content.
We are not that far base on earnings i am at $0.80, and i must admit i started this for the money, but everyone could change dont you think? And im also learning alot everyday here.
