Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 24/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from all the previous early shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by as I feel still too tired not to nap during the day. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, I think I was just too tired to let anything disturb me. I woke-up 40 minutes to my scheduled alarm, I actually have no idea why. I was also surprised again not to be awoken by our "cat alarm clock" he was in but remained quiet all night. He is suddenly going out less which is good considering the weather lately, but I also noticed today he seemed rather sad. It's definitely a bit of a problem that he often wakes me during the night, especially since having these very early morning shifts. Most mornings before I started doing the early morning shifts I was resting way past the alarm, this was due to not going to sleep early enough or the cold making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was mostly clear, the sun was yet to fully rise, temperature wise it was cold from the start, especially because I'm getting up between heating sessions which means I wake-up when it's beginning to get colder again. It was a early start for me not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so like this there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was very windy which I really didn't expect, thankfully not as icy cold but still cold enough that I hurried to work. Some idiotic drivers decided that even without any traffic in this particular area near work that it would be a good idea to crash into each other. I mean seriously these 2 must of been asleep at the wheel to crash the way they did, thankfully nobody was insured. When I got to work there was some discussion between the superior and a outside colleague about why task 2 this morning is much less. From what I heard the good news was there won't be as much work for me to do but the reasons behind that are haunting. The work for task 2 comes from another site and they were enable to get this work to us because of a terrible incident that happened on site. It seems a former colleague was extremely angry with the people who worked there, and so he decided to turn up to the place wielding a large knife, he managed to successfully stab a total of 5 workers. While I was of course happy about the lack of work this morning the reasoning's behind it is nothing to be happy about and are the sickening state of society, and perhaps what it does to people. Regardless I have no choice but to get working, I started with task 1 which also seems to have somehow been affected by the events because it was even less than yesterday and even then it was already less work than usual. Strangely I almost hit my time limit which I think was because of one disturbance. I went on to task 2 and it was indeed a pitiful amount of work and I couldn't help but think about those who got insured while trying to give us the work for task 2. Even with taking my time and reflecting on the incident I was still done much earlier and so I took this opportunity to test myself further with setting up task 3 which my boss taught me how to do the other day. There was about the usual amount for task 3 and so took things easy because I had plenty of time to get it done. It was completed well within the time limit which made a change for once, and so I checked what the annoying weekly task would be for me today. I was surprised to see that for once this week I didn't actually have one to do this morning meaning for once this week I won't be running around desperately trying to use every minute I can to get the task done. I also noticed and was pleased to see that someone yesterday must of done the task I was still behind on. Yesterday I was horrified to see that a task set for someone else was crossed over and instead had been assigned to me! I was furious because these tasks have been annoying me all week. The idiots think it's right that I get one every morning now, while ignoring all the other people who work here. This wouldn't be a problem but sadly because I have a lot of tasks to get done on the weekly sheet I have to fight for any extra spare minutes I can get to try and have them all completed. It's all a strain for peanuts but yet they expect you to just create miracles out of thin air. I think this is all still part of my punishment for being unwell on the last day that I done the extra work and so being a little slower that day. All this while these idiotic superiors are fine to make up all their own lame excuses without any questions being asked. To press on how idiotic these people can be I spent the rest of my shift working on that extra one that was magically assigned to me. Now because these superiors are so smart "stupid" I could tell that one of them thought I wasn't actually doing any work. She of course came to me in a sneaky fashion to try and catch me out, I simply told her the truth of what it was that I was doing, which was my newly given assigned task, and from there she left me alone. But of course it was fine for me to see her doing clearly what was her online shopping "instead of working" without any issues or questions, always one rule for us and another rule for them, absolute jokers! What I found interesting is when my colleague came in he took one second to make a comment about the work I was doing, it's funny he recognised right away I was working yet the ones in charge couldn't tell, I think that says it all really. While I enjoyed most of the shift for finally not running around, it thankfully soon came to that time for me to escape work😁. On the way home the wind had thankfully stopped and it had cleared enough that some sun was able to shine, I noticed that the wreckage on the road from the crash this morning had already been cleared. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, initially I thought I might just make it without needing to nap but later in the day I had to go for a quick nap. After I done a few more things, and while making space for the next meet-up I talked to friends on the phone. For the quick work-outs 5 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked-in with my father, and then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Awards arrived a little late but winners were announced, I have a link to the post on this post below. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
