Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 8/5/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 8/5/2022.

We missed the start-up post for the beginning of May as some friends brought me tickets to go see a live band, this was a rare occurrence from them but most kind and appreciated. It was a great night out and I hope to repeat it in future. But speaking of May I can't believe we are reaching towards nearly half the year, what makes this even harder to believe is how there is still a war going on in the streets of the Ukraine. It continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and sadness into the lives of many with this continued war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. As for crypto it was interesting to see Steem holding well even after bitcoin falling, this seems like it was because someone had invested with us which is great and again proves that not much is needed to move the price up when it comes to Steem.

With the sudden changes in bitcoin the opportunity to gain a few extra steems almost came into fruition, see while Steem wasn't that affected by Bitcoin it seems however that SBD's did get hit which I expected. Still I reckon a few extra steems can be earned from when the price of Steem did go up last month, that is if you saved a few SBD's. Still we can keep an eye out for opportunities like recently it came to many of us a challenge with 150 Steem up for grabs. The winners for that event have been announced so if you took part in that challenge or just curious on the event you can check it out here You Supported Steemit. It was very simple to take part all you needed to do was write a review about Steemit, to make it even simpler the review was divided into 3 sections, the review however had to be posted on Sourceforge. But this was simple as all you needed was a email address to submit your review. When I initially checked there was 21 reviews, amazingly together we managed to take it up to 148 reviews! Which put Steemit in the number 1 spot! You can check it out under Steemit Best Decentralized Social Media Networks For some reason there are now only 145 reviews not sure why this is the case but perhaps some reviews were removed as they were not appropriate.

The weather for April was very confused we would have sunshine, rain and even hail all within the same day 20 minutes apart from each other, in May things have stabilised we seem to have this pattern where during the night it's very cold and during the day it gets hot which makes it feel like I'm living in a deserts weather circle. Today I had work for the afternoon shift something I have not done on a Sunday for a good while now. but I only had to be in for a while infact probably less time than I normally do on Sunday mornings. But I was a little annoyed that all the past Sunday's when I go in the work load always arrives early yet when I go in the afternoon expecting most of it to be done "nope" it literally just started. Which of course I had to deal with it but at least I was on my usual tasks.

We also got in the results for club 50/50 for the month of April.
