Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 8/3/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early work shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by, and while I'm not napping during the day anymore it's still best to strive for a healthy amount of sleep. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, it was already a later time than I should be asleep by coming off call with friends online and I was very tired. I woke-up 20 minutes to my scheduled alarm, think this might be anxiety that I missed the alarm. Our "cat alarm clock" as now been mostly staying indoors which is rather surprising considering the milder weather but at least he as remained settled being quiet all night. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was nicely clear, temperature wise it was cold. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it continued to quickly get brighter, I was very happy I was able to catch the sun rise, however what I didn't like was how very cold it remained, traffic was very busy. When I got to work it was my boss who I would be working with for this shift, I was surprised because he had also done the previous morning. But I was glad it was him because I had to ask him some questions about the new system that holds our rotas being updated. Our colleague who sets up task2 had already done this with my boss by the time I arrived, seems they wasted no time this morning getting work set for me. Because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes this can be up to 4 on Sundays. For task1 with it being Saturday I was glad to see there was just under half of the usual amount. Like this I could take my time, I was also lucky that it was easier work, I had it completed 15 minutes early which was indeed a lot of spare time. Checking over the system task2 was about the usual amount, this was good since I had a early start there should be no need to rush. The work was a little more difficult than I thought and there was a few interruptions from the usual work, but it was only at the end where something didn't seem right where it caused some delays and by that time I was already rushing. I finished task2 going over by 10 minutes but it should be ok. I moved to task3 definitely a little worried considering it's Saturday and that it's thrown some surprises at me lately. What I had was just under the usual amount and since I lost 10 minutes I was a little worried, but in the end I had completed on time with still around 7 minutes to spare. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done and nothing for me thankfully. Still I have been slowly trying to get a particular task done from one of my colleagues for now 3 days, and it was on this shift I finally managed to get it completed. Hopefully this will stop the superior complaining about people not getting their weekly tasks done but I highly doubt it. It makes me laugh because many have been doing that for the longest time and the superiors were also just signing to say they had checked that the work had been completed without of course actually checking it themselves. But yeah always double standards with these people. I can say it was a good shift, I have lots to get done so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was much brighter, temperatures finally got a bit milder, the sun was out and while less cloudy I couldn't stick around to enjoy it today typical. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I want to continue with the kitchen, fighting some of the mold trying to settle on the walls. But instead I dealt with some other things, I also needed to start moving photos from my phone incase something happens to it because the battery as been acting a bit strange the past 2 days, mostly depleting it's energy very quickly. I had plans to meet with friends and originally I wanted to go out and celebrate pancake day, but everyone is very tired this week so we are just going to hang out. And that was fine I still had a great time, except returning home was very cold and by that time I was very hungry. For the kitchen unfortunately there was again not the time for doing these things. For the quick work-outs it's been 90 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators Application application for March is now open, also the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
