Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 8/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "102.000" on December 5th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, but likely won't fall that low, so how about 40k? We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. Sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to some gaming and a few last minute things to get done. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, I think it was a combination of the cold and some stress. I woke-up over 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, tried going back to sleep with little luck, I was very wide awake which is unlike me. I'm not sure why this happened, sure the weather was very bad outside that it may of woke me but I don't understand why I was so wide awake. Could it be some anxiety of the possibility that tonight I will meeting with these more stranger colleagues? And likely the reason for the missed post. At least I didn't awake 2 hours early because I got too hot! I really hope this is not going to be happening every other morning. The heating is getting extra hot around a certain time in the early morning and I don't understand why. The annoying thing is after nearly 2 hours it gets very cold again😡! Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, with a cloudy sky, there was a lot of rain and wind, it was strong enough that it woke me up, it was such a horrible morning. Temperature wise it was cold I felt it soon as I got out of bed. It was a early start to the day not by choice but I just couldn't sleep anymore for whatever reason but I only had work later so this was a good opportunity to get chores and some other things done. I continue slowly organising my over 1 year worth supply of old emails, but to make this task more bearable I will try and organise one month worth of emails per day. Well due to work lately I might have to reserve it only for days where I'm not working. As for our unexpected cat guest he spent the night in the house again, it looks like he might be alternating houses to sleep in, however I have noticed he seems to be staying in more nights with us now. But I think he may have a home as there have been a few signs of this still being a possibility. He was the sole reason why I actually got out of bed because I could hear him outside wanting to return to the house. I looked into a few more things about this night out because it might be a venue to go to for New Years. But strangely from my understanding the venue is having a New Years party but this won't be on actual new years night but 3 days earlier which kind of takes the point away of them requesting a entry fee. I done what I could, and with my free time up I ate breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work the weather was just slightly better which made me think if I 'am going out tonight with them I should still likely to be able to handle it. When I got to work I was really glad to not be directly involved with the extra work, infact it looked like instead someone else was already doing that. However I'm still assigned to be the 2nd assisting to make sure it all gets done tonight. This was going relatively well at first but then the superiors in charge done the same thing again to me which placed me at one point being the only person who had nothing to do with the extra work. So again I don't understand what the heck is the point of placing me down to do a job that they simply won't let me do. The only reason why last time I was in charge was because my boss was in and made sure my only focus and task of the day was the extra work but I think this was only done because there was basically nobody doing any assist work. To make things even better.. I quickly discovered that there was a ton of it to get done for this shift. I was at first frustrated with those in charge but after a while stopped caring and instead started asking and convincing staff about the night our later because they were asking me first. Some of the staff are going out clubbing this weekend, initially I didn't get invited, I'm glad I didn't and to be fair it didn't surprise me. Not only have I not gone the past couple of times with them when I did get invited but I have also made it clear I miss the previous group who I used to go out with from work. I have mentioned before I find this group a little odd at times and also more reserved making me think I just likely won't be enjoying their company as much. But I got the invite and they are trying hard to convince me to go this time. So I thought I might give it a try because the days align well with me but also what convinced me was that we was going out for a meal. Don't get me wrong I would of actually preferred to go out clubbing but my thinking is if I'm having a bad time it's easier for me to escape after the meal hen if we go clubbing. But I kept discovering more, like it's less people than I expected, I would estimate it's probably less than half now who are actually going. It's also mostly just the guys going, even the best friend of the girl who organised this whole event isn't going apparently, plus I'm finding out it's more like a bar than a place to eat which might be better. However it seems these fools don't know the difference between a club and restaurant, like seriously 🤷‍♂️ what's going on. For the rest of the shift everybody worked really hard to try and get everything completed but we still ended it late. Still I was glad to escape work because I was beginning to get tired, the cold going home had settled a bit compared to what it was like during mid shift. The weather was still awful enough that you'd most likely want to skip and avoid going out tonight. When I arrived home it was straight to getting changed to leave, I had all this planned out really well this time that I was done very quickly. On the way it was very noticeable that most people were simply not our for a Saturday night which I don't blame them for due to this horrid weather, but that did however make the journey there safer. Once I arrived at the club I couldn't find anybody to which I was sure I'm likely the first person to get there. While walking around the club I was pulled into a table my some girls who I knew some of them from another site. They were strangely also having a work get together there on the same night which I did know about but still found it odd how this as happened. Eventually slowly my group of people had arrived, and I can honestly say that the rest of the night was a very pleasant fun experience that I had not had in a while. I put a lot of the younger ones to shame as I was very comfortable in the venue as I had visited it many time but not only that some of the younger guys were shy first timers to such places. I managed to get some girls from different tables to shout shame at them for being boring. This was simply because since we had a table reserved they just all sad around the table in silence looking at their phones. Luckily there were a few more girls who turned up and while most of them very shy one in particular wanted to and had no problem going to the dance floor with me and like this we was eventually able to convince the rest of the group to get up and dance. Once all that was over we still went to another club, danced some more in there before finally going home. I was shocked how this guy who doesn't talk to me much at work was very quick to offer me a lift home, however this nice offer could of simply been because he didn't want me to get in the car with the girls who also offered me a lift home. I think he didn't wanted me to spent anymore time with a certain girl because he likes her, still I took up he's offers since it would of been less crowded car. When it got home it was too late for getting on with any chores. As for the quick work-outs I last done one 14 days ago, I hope to get one done soon. Lastly I started to prepare super late dinner, I didn't check in with my father as it was too late, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 will be starting in mid December, but the application process in now live. Teams can now just be one person! But you can include one assistant to help you with marking assignment posts which could be very useful to have and include in your team for saving time. Our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. But I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. Regardless I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional. If you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
