Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 7/9/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

Sept 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it reached 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this season, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to article reading. Compared to yesterday I went to sleep later but it's a good improvement going under the usual late hour but I still wanted to do a little better. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't any difficulty to sleep, the timing seems to have been good. Once sleeping I woke-up 20 minutes to my scheduled alarm, initially not sure why but I think it was maybe stress that disturbed me or maybe even a dream about my childhood. The alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this was to try and help me get my sleeping routine back on track. I rested for longer past the alarm, a little too long. As for the weather this morning it was a little similar to yesterday with how dark it was, mostly cloudy no rain this time and also no sign of the sun. Usually it will clear-up by the afternoon but lately it only gets partially clear, even with that it's been providing us with some good summer heat. Temperature wise the heat was at a point where it was comfortable, and normally during the afternoon it gets a little too hot. The late start to the day was not much of a problem as I didn't have work until later, this is good as it will give me time to try and get some chores done. Not only that but I wanted to get more of the prep done for my trip, I either wanted to tackle the documents this morning or look through the leg wear I have "like trousers and jeans" to see if I need to buy any new ones soon. See I have friends who are still on holiday and others who are "preparing" to fly away again and so "like my friends" I want to start preparing a few things for when I go to visit my father. The reason for doing some of this now is to not panic about it later having so much to do with such little time left, especially as work often gets in the way. Not only that but it seems confirmed now that my friends will return before I leave and they will want to meet. If I get these things done now I might have the time to still see them just before I leave for my own trip. I have still not had time to look into loading all the files onto the new memory stick which will hold all the retro's. I would like to update it from the glitchy one I have currently, since it's glitchy it's already many times over done wipes on files and so I will be glad to see it go. In the end I managed to get both my main goals this morning, however I did receive a message from my father later mentioning another document that I need and so I will have to get that on another day, maybe even tomorrow. So now all that is left are the small last minute things to pack, and that's the scary part, not to forget and of those things haha. When my free time was up I had a quick small breakfast, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work there wasn't much of a improvement with the weather but something told me it was to still get a little warmer. Arriving to work I was surprised to see the guy there who usually asks me to do cover work in the morning. I thought he was going home but apparently he just started, I initially thought he was lying haha. This was a relatively easy shift as there wasn't any extra work to be done, and with setting-up the new network system from the start was also free of any problems. Back on my floor the guy who usually makes he's escape when there is the extra work was doing just that "escaping" however there wasn't any extra work this shift so I couldn't complain. When it came to the weekly tasks I didn't really bother with these except I filled a few things from missing from yesterday that I forgot to add and it seems other people had done the same. But this week I have been lucky with them, initially before they had it updated I already started with a few things myself and when the tasks were updated one of them I had already been working on and it was mostly completed. That particular task was assigned to someone else "I stole it" and put myself down for it and completed it. My colleague was pleased when I told him that he won't have to bother with it. The next day as my boss talked about the first things he wanted me to get done "I was already smiling" because it was a easy thing that was already placed on the task sheet. And so by finishing that task "as instructed by my boss" I could essentially steal another job and so taking the burden off another colleague. Once I started I was amazed by how well the system was working for me and wonder what I had done differently, it worked well for the entire shift. I was glad when it was time to finish as I process the sad news that they will be closing down the floor I work on, this will happen at the end of next month and so moving us to a lower floor with the others. It's a bad business decision that will result in us making less money, and it's that which frustrates me and I'm so tired of seeing bad decisions being made by the idiots up top who have no clue about what they are doing. Like some other colleagues have pointed out already there could potentially be some people having to be cut as we won't need as many, reducing jobs while the population keeps growing. On the way home it was already almost dark some of my colleagues were surprised, but what surprised me even more was just how hot it was out. I know I said earlier it would be hot later but I didn't mean when it's night time! When I got home it was too late to start on any chores, as for the quick work-out I had already done it earlier in the day. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, checked to see if my father needed to call me and I also checked-in with my friends holidaying as they are finally returning back when the weekend is over "lol looks like they hit the gym or something", after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". The changes aren't anything drastic thankfully, you can now experience this yourself as the updates are live. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
