Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/7/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

July 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, as some wait on another possible alt coin rally, Steem did almost double since it's bottom and while that was something to celebrate we done much better in the past. What this does mean is that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors💰. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour which is slightly disappointing, this was mostly due to some late night trading that I wanted to take advantage of while things were in good favour. Shame really as I was set for a good early night but I believe the late one was worth it. When I did try to sleep I thought there would be some difficulty as I looked forward to seeing some of the results from some of the trades, but there was also the cold to deal which I had prepared for it as I learnt my lesson from the previous night. The cold had not been a problem for a while, but putting on a extra layer quickly solved the problem. When I did fall asleep I woke-up only a few minutes to my scheduled alarm, this is because of some outside noise at a stupid time in the morning. I tried going back to sleep with little luck plus it was pointless, the alarm was set for earlier to make sure I get ready on time for work. As for the weather this morning it was mostly cloudy with a little bit of sun trying to be seen. Temperature wise it remains cooler to the point that it was almost a little chilly, however without much sun it looks set to get to that point. Since I had work to get in for soon there wasn't any time for me to get much of anything done, with my free time up I skipped on breakfast before getting changed and ready for work. On the way I was surprised by the weather as it looked miserable out but it wasn't cold at all it was nicely pleasant. When I arrived to work I saw the guy who seems to be letting us down on getting the extra work ready, yes when I say letting us down I really mean me, haha I will be honest that I don't want to be doing that job next week which I learned from a colleague yesterday that I would have to do it twice. I really didn't like the fact that I will be dealing with that alone for 2 separate days while both of those who usually do that work take their time off. Now look I don't mind that they get their rightly owed time off but I'm not happy that I have to be the one doing their cover work. This is for the simple fact that the superiors let them both take holidays at the same time! I mean back in the day that wouldn't even be allowed. This annoys me further as when I requested time off for the event with friends 2 months ago they didn't let me, and from what I could see they had the staff in to allow it. Still in the end I never managed to ask the guy why he was not supporting that work anymore as he warmed me about a task that had waiting for me. It's a good distraction, and so it was not long from when I got to my floor when my boss called me and gave me the job. The numbers of the task he gave me seemed off but once I got started I was glad my boss was correct with the numbers as I didn't want to be doing that all day. When that was one I got on with the weekly tasks which I barely touched this week but managed to get more than half of it done for the day. Leaving work with this time being the 4th I have finally started getting use to the idea of not having to do the sign-out paper work, even if I always thought it was a stupid concept in the first place, well it turns out they have finally realised this and scrapped that extra pointless step. The weather continued to look miserable but it actually got very warm. It also seems like I got home at the right time as soon after it started to rain, it's not that I didn't expect it, but it didn't seem like it would rain with such pleasant weather. I got on with some chores not many as I was tired and didn't have long because I have a very early shift tomorrow, also I spoke with friends about instead meeting on the Sunday which we was in agreement with. As for Steemit.com 📊 there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I still believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating better content but rather on how the site and the token is valued. Again not by it's content but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Work hard, try to hold it together, sometimes we can't and that's ok too.. Let yourself know this first off. After that "Pace" yourself, even in the mist of the storm you can make it. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
