Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 5/5/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 5/5/2022.

The post was missing for May 1st as some friends brought me tickets to go see a live band with them, this was rare and most kind of them. And so with all the travel and the show on that day I had no time to post, still I had a great night out and hope to repeat it in future. Speaking of I can't believe we reached May already and what makes this even harder to believe is how there is still a war going on in the streets of the Ukraine. It continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and sadness into the lives of many with this continued war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. As for crypto it was interesting to see Steem holding well even after bitcoin fell, this seems like it was because someone had invested with us which is great and again proves not that much is needed to move the price up. With the sudden changes in bitcoin the opportunity to gain a few extra steems almost came into fruition as while Steem was that affected by Bitcoin it seems however that SBD's did which I guess was expected, still I reckon a few extra steems can be earned from when the price of Steem did go up if you had saved a few SBD's. Since we are not getting the same level of support we once did in November these little gains all count and help towards our goal, still I'm happy for all those who do vote in as we continue rising at a faster pace compared to previous years.

It was very simple to win if you have made posts on Steemit before then it would of been real easy for you. All you needed to do was write a review about Steemit.. Yes seriously that's it, easy right? To make this even simpler the review must of been divided into 3 sections, which were a few of Steemit's Pros-Cons and your what your Overall Experience was while on the site. However we didn't want your review posted on Steemit, the review had to be posted on Sourceforge. I was simple as all you needed was a email address to submit your review. When I initially checked there was 21 reviews, we amazingly managed to take it up to 148 reviews! Which puts Steemit at the number 1 spot! That was the goal so it's awesome we managed to do it, a big well done to everybody who took part in this effort! You can check it out yourself under Steemit Best Decentralized Social Media Networks For some reason there are now only 145 reviews not sure why this is the case but perhaps some reviews were removed as they were not appropriate. This was all actually achieved faster than we had anticipated there were initially 2 options, one to win 150 Steem this option is now closed, but you can still read about it here: Support Steemit and Win STEEM. I share this because some powerful accounts were supporting successful reviewers so there might still be a chance that someone will upvote your entry "BUT NO GUARANTEES".

As for the option I was offering I firstly needed you to upvote this post at %100 as this helps with exposure and for even bigger prizes in future, secondly was to write in the comments section "Done" along with "once you have actually written your review" screenshots and information on which review is yours, this will be of course once it's been excepted onto the Sourceforge website which may not happen instantly, for 1 person only each day you can win a %70 upvote from myself and (3 Steem).

Regardless of which option you picked we were looking only for those who have had a mostly positive experience on Steemit, if you had a bad time on Steemit and wrote a negative review your free to do so but you wouldn't be included on to win anything on neither option.
