Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 5/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to organising space for the next online meet up with friends. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, the sound of the rain and the snow falling made it relaxing. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was cloudy, there was a lot of rainfall which was very quickly clearing out any signs of snowfall, temperature wise it was just about comfortable but only due to the heating being on. It was a early start for me but on purpose, I had to get into work soon and was honestly very annoyed with the early morning wake. The early start means there was no time for me to get any chores done or to get other things completed. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was cold, no surprise there with all the snowfall last night, regardless the rain was making quick work of hiding any evidence of snow which was a little sad because I hoped to capture some pictures on the way. It was good to see that many drivers decided not to get out this morning, hopefully due to the snowfall from last night and so making the roads safer and nicely quiet. When I got to work it was the good superior who was in she knows what she is doing and will normally help me with my tasks. Well this morning that was not the case she didn't help haha but it really wasn't necessary for her to help. Sure there was a moment or 2 where I got a little worried I might not get everything completed but it was fine. She spent most of the morning complaining about the mess of others and so she should know just how annoyed I get when I'm put in charge of the extra work and some of the weeks mess as been left for me to organise. I found it funny that once I completed everything I needed "with still 15 minutes spare" I noticed some papers on a desk, she never told me anything about these papers but I assumed it was a job for me so I had to go find her first and ask if this was a task for me which she said yes. I didn't expect to have to do this and I tried quickly to get this task done within those 15 minutes left before the usual work flow starts. This failed but it was actually easier to get done after the work flow started because strangely there wasn't much to get on with. Thankfully before I got too tired it soon came round to escape work. On the way home it didn't look like it at snowed at all last night, but the rainfall certainly continued on from the night. It was cold and I thought about going shopping to get a few needed things, but couldn't remember what I needed so skipped it only remembering later what it was I needed ARGH! Once I got home I got started with chores doing what I could before it hit me that I needed to take a nap. I tried to take a nap but it took me a while to strangely fall asleep, maybe it was the brightness or the noises from outside. After sleeping for around 2 hours I got on with some more chores before meeting up with friends online. Half turned-up as expected, progress wasn't as much as I hoped for. For the quick work-outs I'm recovering from yet what I think is another flu trying to get me down so I hope after to try and get one done soon after missing 40 days. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I check-in with my father, then I settled for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 Week 3 is underway this is a opportunity for users to learn and earn STEEM. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
