Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 4/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024-Bitcoin reached over "99.000" on November 22th and so the high season doesn't seem to be done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? Well 30k would be a good mark, but likely won't fall that low, so how about 40k? We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. Sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly due to some image finding, a late night call with a friend and just the cold slowing me down. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, the cold wasn't as bad thanks to the heating. I woke-up 30 minutes to my scheduled alarm, tried going back to sleep with little luck. I was more worried about something happening like the past 2 days, I woke-up 2 hours early because I got too hot! I really hope this is not going to be happening every other morning. The heating is getting extra hot at that time of morning and I don't understand why, the annoying thing is after nearly 2 hours have past it gets very cold again😡! Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cooler temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, with a cloudy sky, hopefully it won't rain later. Temperature wise it was just about comfortable but this is only thanks to burning money with the heating being on. It was difficult to start this morning to get out of bed, but compared to most previous mornings we done a little better, which I think was mostly because of the heating on. It was a late start but I only had work later so this was not a problem, which means this was a good opportunity to get chores and some other things done. I can't believe we are now on the last month of the year, seriously where as it all gone!🤷‍♂️? I continue slowly organising my over 1 year worth supply of old emails, but to make this task more bearable I will try and organise one month worth of emails per day. But due to work mostly that's not been working out very well haha. As for our unexpected cat guest he spent the night in the house again, it looks like he might be alternating houses to sleep in haha. However I have noticed he seems to be staying in more nights with us. But see I think he may have a home as there have been a few signs of this like him refusing food after being away for over a day and a half, he also remains very clean and in good condition. A fight broke the other morning with the cats which as honestly not happened in a long time, but we are not sure if this was due to our new cat guest or not. I done what I could, and with my free time up I ate lunch, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was a little brighter out, thankfully it didn't rain but remained cold. When I got to work I was glad that it seemed like the heating on our floor was working a little better today, as the cold was really getting to me. Thankfully there was no extra work to deal with for this shift, meaning I could take it a little easier. This was still difficult at times because it was generally a busy shift. The extra work as honestly been infuriating I mean why place me down to do something different when I'm effectively still doing the same thing when I get in. With the extra staff we had in I could of easily escaped that usual work, plus we had more staff arrive later which left me confused as to why I couldn't continue as I was concentrating just on the "extra work" as when most of the others do this they are allowed to do this in peace. Sure the new guy was struggling with the system I know that is one of the reasons and of course the backlog yesterday, but due to the changes we just about managed to reach target the other night and it was only possible due to some extra help. Those in charge there really need to make up their minds about what they want to prioritise. I think some of this is due to the issues that happened the previous day with a backlog, some of the superiors were arguing about it and it seems again they are discussing adding my and a few others to the financial side of things which I really rather they don't. But so far I have nearly managed to end the year without it and hope it stays that way. Our newest staff member was in again and for this shift I was able to get a few some more interactions with her which she seemed to be friendlier this time round. However she was complaining to the superiors about wanting shifts to work around her husband's schedule, which honestly of course didn't go down well. And I agree with the superiors that if every staff member had their way on how the schedules work the business simply wouldn't function, she also agreed to the hours via her contract. The superior in also complained because I simply misused a single word which means the same thing, she explained to me that I should be using a simpler word. But I felt I already was, the person I was speaking with already understood, and so using a different word for the same thing was just unnecessary. Regardless to get this superior off my back I will from now on "try" to always use the "exact same" word that she uses argh🙄 haha. They are always telling us to be ourselves at work but yet "we must comply" and we must all do everything the exact same way.. 🙄 yup makes sense. I mentioned that I didn't know which night but some of the staff are going out clubbing. And I didn't get initially invited haha, but jokes aside I'm glad I didn't and to be fair it didn't surprise me. Not only have I not gone the past couple of times when I did get invited but I have also made it clear I miss the previous group who I used to go out with from work. I have mentioned before I find this group a little odd at times and also more reserved making me think I just likely won't be enjoying their company much. But I got the invite and they are trying hard to convince me to go this time. So I might just go.. but only because it's not clubbing and instead a meal. Don't get me wrong I would of actually preferred to go out clubbing with them but my thinking is if I'm having a bad time it's easier for me to escape after the meal. But I keep discovering more, like it's less people than I expected, I would estimate it's probably less than half now that are actually going. It's also mostly just the guys going, plus I'm finding out it's more like a bar than a place to eat which might be better. However I think these fools don't know the difference between a club and restaurant, like seriously 🤷‍♂️. Still I was glad to escape work because I was beginning to feel tired, plus I took advantage of getting out work earlier to get some of the Christmas shopping already done. It was already fully dark outside but not that cold and at least no sign of the police on the road this time. Yesterday along the way some police were on the road and others on foot. It looked like they were initially waiting for someone on the road to drive past, but those on foot seemed to be looking around for someone instead. All I know is this really suspicious guy appeared in front of me as he was all covered up. I know it was cold out but this guy was purposely trying to hide he's identity, but I felt safer knowing some police were nearby but as I passed this guy he caught view of the police and turned around and so now following me argh. Weird because this is the way he just came from, I sped up to see and he kept the pace which was strange so I made my way to the supermarket. It was only then he stopped following me and then disappeared, so kind of weird, perhaps that was the guy the police were searching for, who knows. Then just as I approached home next door there were two guys who looked like they had just made a deal, but for whatever reason they were still hanging around.. yes as they love doing in freezing cold nights. I didn't want to pass them so waited around, but the druggies decided to share a trade and smoke together, 15 minutes later they were finally separating. Honestly I just wanted to get home, be warm and relax but these people have nothing better to do but to spent their time out at night in streets corners getting drugged up and looking for trouble. At least tonight there was no trouble on the way home after the shopping was completed, which I now hope will cover nearly everyone for Christmas. When I arrived home it was too late for getting on with any chores. As for the quick work-outs I last done one 11 days ago, I hope to get one done soon. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked in with my father, then I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 will be starting in mid December, but the application process in now live. Teams can now just be one person! But you can include one assistant to help you with marking assignment posts which could be very useful to have and include in your team for saving time. Our TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. But I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. Regardless I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional. If you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work on remaining at peace and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
