Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 4/10/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Oct 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. But when is it likely to finish? When it falls to 50k? I still thought we would of seen it fall further down but maybe we won't. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, but 30k would be a good mark, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly not a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season. But what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to being very tired, not sure why exactly I was so over tired, I'm sure I didn't do anything more than usual. When I did try to sleep there wasn't any difficulty, I think I was just too tired to let any stress bother me. Once sleeping I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, the alarm was set for in-between the hours I usually start, this is to try and help me improve my sleeping routine. Most mornings I have been resting past the alarm as I'm still tired as usually I'm not going to sleep early enough. This is what happened last night but I think sleeping past the alarm will be slowly happening anyway because of that winter cold coming, but this morning I rested for way too long. As for the weather this morning I couldn't believe it, after a whole week of it being dark and cloudy we finally had a break with a beautiful clear sky and lots of sunshine. Temperature wise it was comfortable but just about, my hope was that the sunshine will later warm us up a bit. I only had to be in work later and so this gave me time to get some chores done during the morning. I also received some sudden news last night that my father will be coming down to visit me for about 1 week starting from this Saturday. This as put me under stress now to get everything that I can ready for his visit, but with very limited time to prepare due to work. This is all very bad timing for me "also due to work" because of the sudden shutdown of my floor, it seems I will be moving back into a slightly more financial side of the business which I hated to begin with and why I moved away from it in the first place. The move will require me to study some of the financial side of things which I always had trouble with as this company makes it all extra complicated for no reason. I been enjoying my free time during the holidays but that is over and I feel everything is now going over-board, but I need to work and start earning some much needed money to combat the costs of birthdays and events all happening this October. So I got on with a few chores and some preparations for my father, but not much due to the late start. With my free time up I had a quick small breakfast, got my bag set for work, changed and left. On the way to work I took the plastics for recycling with me to dispose, it was also surprising that it was still sunny. It still had a mostly clear blue sky and under the sun it was nicely warm. When I arrived to work I was surprised not to see the guy who usually set's the extra work but I was sure we are suppose to get it this shift. Speaking with another colleague he told me I may be required to stay longer. I asked him why and he said a certain part of the extra work was a lot and it was the same part that last time required me to stay longer. When my colleague left I looked at all the stats and still had some doubts I would need to stay this evening. Still it was getting late and nowhere had I seen the guy who deals with the extra work. I discovered later it was not him who was dealing with it but instead one of the other guys who covered him during the holidays. Like I suspected he was taking a lot longer to set everything up which made me begin to believe I would have to stay. Since our part was still relatively a small one it seems that was enough that I was still able to escape from work on time. I done a bit more of the task given by my boss yesterday, he unfortunately gave me a task I don't like, and that because I don't want to be involved in doing any job that are the preparations for myself moving to the lower floors. I heard they hired some more people for Christmas, and due to my floor closing down it was to no surprise that only 3 extra people were hired. That's so little considering a few years ago you'd have nearly 10 or more people being hired. On the way home from work I expected it to be a little lighter out but it was already slowly getting dark. At least this time I didn't have to go shopping for anymore birthdays gifts and things for the events coming later this month. When I got home I quickly had to get a few things done before I could meet online with friends. I was on there a little late but knew already only half were going to show up. As for the quick work-outs it's now been 6 missed days, and I don't think I will be able to get any done now until my father leaves. I might try and get one done tonight but I will be spending most of it after dinner sorting out more things for my father's visit. Lastly I started to prepared dinner, I checked to see if my father was trying to contact me and was surprised not to hear from him, after I settled-in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 there seemed to be some issues with it for 3 days with it's servers, perhaps they are doing updates but I think this may of now been fixed. Like I mentioned there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us.
