Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 30/4/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

April 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season wasn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin but likely you have also witnessed some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. We also had the Bitcoin halving, which for some reason everybody gets excited about this event because it's suppose to mean a ramp-up on Bitcoins worth. Well in all honesty in previous halving's apart from yes a bump-up I noticed it usually falls more than anything else, still this of course does help with it's overall value but not in the way many would claim. So who knows if the bullrun is truly over, I only really mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However with that it also means that Steem itself is essentially still wide open "price wise" for the smart and smaller investor. Last night I went to sleep just before the usual late hour, finally as it was I needed after a week or more of constant lates. Something I say often and what people don't seem to realise is how technology in one way keeps going backwards, and the reason for doing this is to try and get people to instead spend more on services, they are putting out products that do less or have not as much flexibility so that you have to pay for it. When I did go to rest it was easy to fall asleep, however I'm sure the reason for having trouble falling asleep some of the previous nights was due to the cold. I'm better prepared for the night by putting on a blanket over the sheets, surprisingly last night was the first night in a long time where I didn't need the blanket! While the blanket helps it isn't by much but it is usually at least enough to get me through the night. Since I didn't need it yesterday I do wonder could it be that it's finally getting warm enough to dich the blanket!? When I did go to sleep I woke-up probably around half hour or more before my scheduled alarm, and I actually felt awake but didn't want to check the time in-case it was too early and so went back to sleep. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing which by then I felt more sleepy, it was set for later than usual as I want to make sure I get enough sleep and not get unwell. I rested past the alarm by more than I wanted but at least I should of got some good rest, I could of easily rested for longer but I had things I wanted to get done. As for the weather this morning it's much brighter compared to yesterday, to the point that I would say it's been mostly a sunny one, however there are some dark clouds out there who are very much trying to take over. While it was a late start to the day this was not too much of a problem as I didn't have work until later but did have some chores I definitely wanted to get done. I'm lucky that I had the extra time as there were a few things that I thought I had already prepared, this was not the case causing me to spend more time on getting things completed. The other night my computers mouse stopped working correctly an so yesterday morning I had to go and find another working one. Luckily I have a few that my mother gifted to me from her old job, sadly the one I'm using at the moment compared to the previous one I just don't like it very much. But hey it's free and mostly works fine so I can't complain too much, the biggest issue I have with it is the shape, likely design for bigger hands that like to rest on it but to me it just feels awful. Perhaps I can eventually get used to it. Overall while I didn't get everything I wanted done this morning it was enough to be satisfied with. I had a late and small breakfast before getting changed and leaving for work. On the way to work the weather remained decent with some good sunshine and while it remained too windy it at least wasn't cold. Hopefully I won't have to go on my break earlier than usual again due to some meetings going on, and while I didn't mind it that much "that time" I do worry that they may try and turn it into a regular thing, we will see. Arriving to work I wasn't even able to place my things down before the newest superior came chasing me down, she needed me to stay a little longer. This was not a problem for me plus it wasn't going to be for long. However later when I passed her work I noticed a check-list with my name on it, seems like I probably had to do the usual fire test. Thinking about it I couldn't remember when was the last time we had fire tests, I was trying to remember what were the questions and answers and was struggling. It wasn't long after that that I spotted her chasing me down again and it was indeed for a test but not the fire safety one, instead it was one on some documentation. This one is super easy and I had no issues with it whatsoever. With the test done and staying slightly longer confirmed I was finally left in peace to get on with work. Since I had to stay longer I really expected the extra work to be available but this was not the case, actually I'm a little unsure why exactly I had to stay longer. I done some more of the weekly task as I only have one this week but will divide it up into 3 sections. I expected the last hour to be a hectic one but this didn't happen and so it was a relatively easy one. On the way home it was still bright out with some sun, best of all the wind had calmed and so it wasn't cold. When I arrived home and went to my room I was annoyed as I was sure the heating was on but infact it wasn't. The room was just warm from the sun hitting the windows while I was at work, relieved it was nice to get home to a warm room. Still waiting to get a reply from my friend soon so that everybody can more or less make their final decisions about the event coming next month. At least until I know more on whether or not I can attend any of the days with a organic day off from work. I must admit it's not looking good following the structure and pattern I have been seeing lately, however I'm still really hoping to at least get one of the days off. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which I'm sure as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the tokens value I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on content creation but on how the site and the token is valued, again not by content but by holding the token, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point were inviting alpha testers to try the work so far as been called for. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
