Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 3/3/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 3/3/2023.

March 2023 There is much talk of the government bringing out it's own digital currency, this is something many had predicted years ago and in 2025 they are going to try and put it forward with a release expected in 2030, well it wouldn't surprise me if this happens even sooner. Also it was announced that they are blocking many people from being able to buy crypto via their banks, yes this was done sometime ago but some still wouldn't block transactions, but this is now the case because because crypto is volatile?? We previously had a big fall that took Steem down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. So far the price as gone up in the general market this includes Steem, a good sign yes but not for reaching our goal haha. However this doesn't matter as the point of us trying to reach our 50k goal is to secure and raise the price of Steem which is still selling at a accessible price for many folks. Steem and the general market as been often predicted on falling again soon at the beginning of March. So far it's not doing too bad however what isn't going at a good rate is our average electrical usage charge. These greedy energy companies just don't stop milking people and this cuts into investment, many things have gone up in price. The new year didn't bring much better with the weather being colder and the cost of living spiralling upwards hitting hard. Many are left wondering when will it all get better? The bad news is most likely it won't, I mean it never as before so why do people continue to think there will be a reverse on these costs. Back in January I saw news articles asking the same question but later claiming that as we go deeper into the year the cost of living will go down. More articles since then claim the same scenario, well I don't ever remember hearing or ever seeing the costs going down, it always goes up, so good luck with that. Apparently the reasoning for all this is the war in Ukraine, but honestly if that's the case we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at the boarder, they instead attack, strike up fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

I didn't expect this year on being much better, people just seem to be getting worse, losing themselves more and more doing horrendous things to each other, those in control up top are no better and also responsible for much of the hardship happening. Last night I went to sleep much earlier but still not exactly enough for the day ahead or should I say the morning. This is because I had to be up really early for work again, still I can't complain as one of my friends had to get up at 3 in the morning for he's job. It took me a little longer to get up this morning compared to the previous time but I think that might be because it was colder. There was no time this morning to do anything but get ready to leave for for work. When I did and got outside it was definitely much colder compared to the previous time I done the early. It was very cloudy out making it a relatively dark day and I remember when I last done this shift the sun was already shinning in before I even left the house. I hurried to work because it was freezing not only that but I was running late, infact I arrived into work 1 minute late but luckily my superior made nothing of it, think she was just glad not to be there on her own. Still this means we would be running late for getting everything prepared that's why soon as I got in I started rushing to get as much done as possible. When I checked over the workload there was not much which means it will be much easier for me to get us up to where we should be. Strangely like last time the superior started helping me with some of my tasks meaning we was actually way ahead of schedule. I thought after she probably had some extra jobs for me but no nothing thank goodness so for the rest of my shift I could take things a little easier. I was also out in good time and since I had the opportunity I decided to take the extra long way home. As I started going that way I initially was hesitant as the weather wasn't exactly great, but it was quiet out and it wasn't windy so I took a chance and in the end it was fine. When I eventually got home I started doing chores, logging on Steemit, done some more exercise and took a shower after. I was shocked I wasn't falling asleep by that time, I told a friend I might make it to tonight's gaming session but I just have too much too do yet and so will likely give it a miss. When leaving for work yesterday one of the superiors wanted to have a word with me, she basically complained about apparently a mistake I made yet during her talk she pointed out it was the mistake made by someone else. Not only that but she wanted me to reverence against something that I had nothing to reference from, but no apparently it's still my job to somehow get half the blame. Well myself being the 3rd person involved out of 4 in this mistake which I feel as nothing to do with me. All I done was moved something for one of the older women who as arthritis yet because I literally just moved something for someone else I'm getting the blame, how ridiculous is that. Anyway after work I decided to go pick up a air fryer for the family as it seems they had a special deal going on, not only was it cheaper than what most other places who were selling it for but I was very surprised that when I scanned it to pay they knocked off a few more. This worried me that perhaps it would be of bad quality but so far it's been doing it's job really well. The "dreaded" work meeting we had in the end wasn't so bad especially when it started as there was free pizza and drink. As for the actual meeting it was a lot better than the usual, it was very straight to the point but in no way rushed, there was also no silly group games or exercises to get done. Thank goodness as these are normally such a waste of time and mostly pointless for most of us. The best part was when they were showing us some of the key metrics of the business, out of about 15 or so items we was only behind on two. And since the results were mostly all positive it was announced that they are pretty sure "about 95%" that the business will run for at least another 2 to 3 years. This was great news and a big relief for many of us and while I won the 2nd highest prize at the meeting "for I believe the first time ever" the best part was still learning that we have a good chance of having a job come Christmas this year. It was reported that it was going to get much colder again in the last week of February and they haven't been totally wrong however we didn't get the snow bomb they mentioned, my hope is that now arriving in March can we have some warmer weather "please".

As for Steem there as been a few changes when it comes to the Steemit Team and it's booming support, communities have been separated into different tiers, there are so far 3 different tiers which means there is more opportunity for other communities to take part. There were nearly 30 communities putting themselves forward in the hope of getting booming support from the team and due to the extra tiers it seems all communities that applied have been excepted. Steem took a big fall ever since the bitcoin downwave from 60k this sadly also took down the value of SBD's, however it had done a good job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is now SBD's can once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again and so far it's looking healthy to be doing just that. What I like about Steem is it still offers so much opportunity for those investors who realise the enrichment that comes from holding such a token. In one way I wanted the crypto market to remain on the lower end for a while longer, this is to try and get some discounts on various cryptos and in turn hopefully getting a small ROI with Steem. As for TRX there was also a drop in price, not only that but for a few months we was not given any TRX rewards. However most of the missing TRX rewards have now been sent to users, we are also now receiving our current TRX rewards but it does take 2 or maybe 3 days to get them. LocalBitcoins as very sadly ceased after a decade of service, in the statement they said this was due to the crypto winter market but the real culprits are likely the authorities as there sure seems to be a lot of services falling due to draconian rules. Looks like Binance is being another target, also the International Monetary Fund has been urging countries not to adopt cryptocurrencies as legal tender due to their higher risk of instability. This sounds like another poor excuse, they have previously criticised El Salvador’s move to become the world’s first country to adopt bitcoin as legal tender, but this idea has since then also been copied by the Central African Republic.
