Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 3/2/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 3/2/2023.

Feb 2023 we previously had a big fall that took Steem down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. Due to that low price drop and the continued support from you guys we managed to hit 43k before going into 2023. It could of been a lot better but we lost some support a long the way, although we also gained some so let's not be discouraged. Since then the price as gone up in the general market this includes Steem, a good sign yes but not for reaching our goal haha. However it doesn't really matter as the point of us trying to reach our 50k goal is to secure and raise the price of Steem. Many experts claim that this jump in the market is a fake incentive to get people interested in buying again, but we do have to note that it's been holding rather well for a fake. Steem still sells at a accessible price however what doesn't these days is our average electrical usage charge, it's so much more costly compared to just a few months back. These greedy energy companies just don't stop milking from people. I mention this as it cuts into investment, many things have gone up in price. January didn't bring in much better with the weather being colder and the cost of living spiralling upwards hitting hard. Many are left wondering when will it all get better? The bad news is most likely it won't, I mean it never as before and so why do people continue to think there will be a reverse on these costs I don't know? Back on Jan 14th I saw a news article asking the same question, but claiming that as we go deeper into the year the cost of living will go down. More articles since then claim the same scenario, well I don't ever remember hearing or ever seeing the costs going down, it always goes up so good luck with that. Apparently the reasoning for all this is the war in Ukraine, but honestly if that's the case we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at the boarder, they instead attack, strike up fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

Since the past few years have been mostly awful I don't expect this one being much better, people just seem to be getting worse, losing themselves more and more and doing horrendous things to each other. Yesterday I went to sleep a little earlier then usual as I was still feeling sick and had little fever. When I got up this morning it was bright outside but still cold, I was still feeling extra tired which I'm guessing is because of whatever it is my body is fighting, probably a cold but I think I caught a stomach winter bug. I rested a few moments longer before getting up and when I did it seems I'm feeling a lot better. It's what I expected but won't be celebrating just yet because yesterday was the same thing I got up and felt much better but as the day went on I began to feel sick my hope was today that wouldn't be the case. I started with doing the chores around the house and going on Steemit as I was only starting work later. Once it was time I made my way to work I was kind of surprised by how nice it was outside there was no doubt the weather had got much better. When I arrived I could see I was doing the usual work, there was no extra work to get done later which was great however what caught me by surprise was having to do fire safety training. This time it was slightly different as at the end we was given a sheet of paper with questions we needed to answer Before we even done the fire safety we had a long session on colleague safety which was rather entertaining as it seems the company spend some good money producing a almost action film like scenarios which some staff said was very unnecessary. I don't know I kind of liked it and feel it was actually more realistic compared to the usual videos we have to watch but I think those complaining didn't like it because it was scary to think about but unfortunately in reality it normally is the case. After all the training I had about one hour left before I was finished for the day, once done I made my way home passing me was one of the neighbours I was surprised to see the guy walking as I don't ever thing I have seen him walking anywhere perhaps someone stole he's bike. I was surprised to get home and not be feeling unwell while something is still trying to bring me down hopefully the rest tonight will kick it back. What made me feel better yesterday was a funny text from a friend letting me know that one of our mutual friends as decided to move in with he's girlfriend. We find it to be a bit of a drastic move because he met this woman online, he's known her for about 2 months, spent all of Christmas with her plus there are a few other things that seem a little concerning. I guess we will see how this pans out but I don't think they even reached the honeymoon period yet. I guess I just don't think moving in with someone should be taken so lightly.

As for Steem there as been a few changes when it comes to the Steemit Team and it's booming support communities have now been separated into different tiers there are so far 3 different tiers which means there is more opportunity for more communities to take part. There were nearly 30 communities putting themselves forward it hopes of getting booming support and due to the extra tiers it seems all communities that applied have been excepted, you can check out these communities for yourself at Booming Support Communities Booming Support Communities. Steem took a big fall ever since the bitcoin downwave from 60k this sadly also took down the value of SBD's, however it had done a good job at holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is now SBD's can once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again and so far it's looking healthy to be doing just that. What I like about Steem now is it still offers so much opportunity for those investors who realise the enrichment that comes from holding such a token. In one way I wanted the crypto market to remain on the lower end for a while longer, this is to try and get some discounts on various cryptos and in turn hopefully getting a small ROI with Steem. As for TRX there was also a drop in price but once again.. we have stopped receiving TRX rewards. There sure often seems to be issues with receiving these TRX rewards and so I do wish they would focus a little more on this re-occurring problem as it looks so bad on Steemit. From what is understood initially there was bug/issue with how TRX was being distributed, from what I could see instead of receiving half we was still getting almost the full amount. It is a little surprising just how long it was taking them to basically cut the TRX rewards in half, this was announced back in October 2022. The team were saying that all these TRX rewards from it's down date will still be received into our wallets once the issue as been resolved. Hopefully this will happen but I'm assuming what will be received is the TRX "at the new rate of earning" and not the rewards we had previously seen being displayed. There was a note saying that the issue would be fixed before Christmas but to no surprise we are heading into the 2nd month of the new year and still nothing. However we do seem to have the correct amount being displayed on the wallet page now.. progress? I hope so... actually I received some TRX on the 10th of Jan but when I next excepted rewards I checked the following morning to see if they were received and even checked today but there's still nothing coming through.
