Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 29/3/2023.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 6 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 29/3/2023.

March 2023 There is much talk of the government bringing out it's own digital currency, this is something many had predicted years ago, in 2025 they are going to try and put it forward with a release expected in 2030, but it wouldn't surprise me if this happens even sooner. There seems to be a lot of movement from authorities which prevents many interested or wanting to take part in crypto "too volatile" that is the excuse.. As for Steem we previously had a big fall that took it down to $0.14 and with such a fall this helped us with collecting more Steem for our main goal this year. In 2023 what we are aiming for is to finally reach Orca or in other words this means holding a total of 50k Steem Power. The big fall since the bitcoin downwave from 60k sadly also took down the value of SBD's, however it had done a good job of holding around that important $3 mark for many months. My hope is now SBD's can once again secure this value for when Steem does eventually go back up again and so far it's looking healthy to be doing just that. Steem and the general market had often been predicted to fall near the beginning of March and it looks like we got some of that, but what's with this 2nd bounce back, well it could be market manipulation as many claim but it sure is holding well. However what isn't going at a good rate is our average electrical usage charge, these greedy energy companies just don't stop milking people and this cuts into investment, many things have gone up in price. The new year didn't bring much better with the weather being colder and the cost of living spiralling upwards hitting hard. Many are left wondering when will it all get better? The bad news is most likely it won't, it never as before. To prove a point we are once again being told in April the electric costs are going up once again which is seriously ridiculous. But no wait the government says it's going to save us all because they are going to extent their "energy support scheme" by paying off some of these costs for those who can't pay. I think they forget the money they are using to "cover these costs" is actually our money, tax payers money. Regardless they claim the cost of energy will go down by the time the scheme ends. The reasoning said for all these high prices is the war in Ukraine, but honestly if that's the case we must be literally getting almost every single thing from 2 very specific countries. The on-going war is a terrible moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall at the boarder, they instead attack, strike up fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many. A war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. Best keep an eye on those politicians and refuse war at all costs, as continued provocation is on-going "we do NOT want WW3" but perhaps to stop that it may be already much too late.

People just seem to be getting worse, losing themselves more and more doing horrendous things to each other, those in control up top are no better and also responsible for much of the hardship happening. Last night I went to sleep earlier than the usual late hour, this was mostly because I just wasn't feeling that great. That half baked flu was in full swing all day, it took me a good while to just fall asleep which I think is because I spent most of the day resting, but eventually I managed to asleep. When I got up this morning I didn't feel much better infact I was worse because of one thing, for whatever reason if I had my eyes open for longer than 3 minutes I would get incredible headache pains. This is what it was like for most of the morning and thought it was going to prevent me from getting into work. When I left for work the weather was still the same, a very dull day just like yesterday, but so far with less rain, I was hoping the cold weather outside would shift this very painful headache. Of course when I got outside it rained, but this was ever so slightly what they call thin rain. Regardless the fresh air done nothing when I got to work I was still in a lot of pain but checked to see that I was doing the usual. I was but also got part of the job to move things about to confuse those who try robbing the place, this actually took longer than I thought it would but it kept me busy. I hoped that it would distract me enough to stop the headache but no such luck. Strangely I think it was around the last 20 minutes or so when I think I began to notice the pain easing, when I left I couldn't feel the headache that much, I was still in a hurry to get home and lay my head down which I did first thing soon as I got in. Think I rested for about 1 hour with no pain, I could of rested more and probably should but I'm stubborn in wanting to get back to routine, still I wasn't going to push my luck it was just a nice relief to be able to open my eyes without the painful headache. I asked my boss about the supposed long cover shift I was doing on Friday, he explained that I was no longer needed to fully cover that entire long shift meaning I just had to cover the past of my colleague mostly. Kind of happy with that result, on one hand I could of done with the extra money but it would of indeed been a very long shift plus the way I'm feeling now I don't think I would be able to handle it. I mean to be honest I really struggled with the shift I had today, I felt like I just wanted to close my eyes but this time it was mostly because I hoped it would stop my head from hurting so dam much. I was glad when it was over and going home, but typical soon as I'm leaving I start to feel better, perhaps it was the cold of the small interactions I had with colleagues as I left that helped me. Regardless of this when I got home I couldn't wait for the chance to perhaps sleep. I rested but didn't actually manage to sleep, at one point I got up and went on the computer for a while thinking it would make me tired but it didn't seems with luck I might be at the recovery stage. Still I was thinking how strangely one of the superiors came to me an asked if I was surprised to have won the 3rd staff award at the last staff meeting. I told him that yes I was surprised, he asked me why? Initially I told him because if I was to win anything it would of been my guess that it would be something within my department's metrics rather than the overall site. He seemed happy with that answer and just before I was going to tell him the rest of what I thought he was called away by another staff member. But what I was going to tell him is that the guy who was in charge before was a nasty piece of work and had basically put all colleagues down, he especially didn't like me because I simply stuck up for myself. Anyway I'm not to sure what exactly this guy was fishing for here. I was told that some of the other sites have had break-ins, and so for this reason things will be moved about to make the thieves have a tougher time on achieving their goals if they get inside. My question is why are the police not doing anything, why is it down to citizens and business owners to protect what is theirs? But yet when you do this yourself instead of locking away the thieves we get locked up. And so we have to play silly games like move things about, it's rife with crime here and there seems to be no way out. Instead we get punished but of course there is word that staff "us" will also be under watch even more due to these changes "incase we try and steal anything" that is not in it's usual place. Doesn't surprise me, we suffer more for what others have done.. what a surprise.

As for Steemit there were seven curation teams, so 49 community curators all together which means 4 million SP in total used for upvoting content, however in April the Team wants to try something different. They are going to be experimenting with smaller teams, around 4 or 5 people per team. This means there will be less room for curators and the competition to apply for entry will be tougher, but to make up for this it's said that the rewards will be greater. What didn't surprise me is that most Community Curators seem to not look beyond their own communities when it comes to casting votes or selecting their "Posts of the Week" entry which is why I think another team should be doing this specifically. Regardless the Team mentioned that this will became more important when picking curators going forward which I think is a good thing. As for TRX most of the missing TRX rewards have now been sent to users, we are now receiving all current earned TRX rewards, it's less consistent as it can take 2 or 3 days sometimes even longer to get rewards appearing in your wallet perhaps this is due to the amount earned?
