Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 26/12/2024, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Dec 2024- Well it's over, Christmas day is sadly now behind us but that doesn't mean it's fully gone as many will thankfully continue celebrating it until the end of the year which is just great. Sadly for many of us today it was already a call back to work which is obviously down to pure business greed. It wasn't always like this and while many places were shut others continue to fight for their right to have it off, and rightly so💪! I remember last year one of the staff saying to me when I had arrived into work and everybody was looking miserable "that her husband had to keep hinting to family to leave the house early because he's wife had work so early in the morning". She said she was sad because during this she was playing a board game with her children and her children's children and they were all having a lot of fun, laughing and joking with this game, but it had to all end very abruptly as she needed to prepare to be in work at a ungodly time the following morning. Well it turns out this year it was me and another guy who sadly had to get into work at this stupid time in the morning. They better not do this again to me next year as this is suppose to be a rotated shift between other staff members, but somehow I find myself doing it more often than not while some have never done it before even after being there working for a long time, which I find to be unfair. Not only does this stupid shift ruin Christmas for whoever as it but also the following day just because of how early one as to be awake for it. I remember last year when I arrived into work those who started a few hours earlier than me were not happy at all that they had to be in so early, well now this year it's the reverse and those who came in later "at the time I did last year" were also not happy. So yes this company greed ruins both days for many folks and these shifts should be completely abolished in countries that celebrate Christmas. I don't blame these staff to be miserable on their way in as Christmas day went past so fast for me and I too wish I could of spent more time with family, while I was lucky enough to spend Christmas day with them, today was a different story. I know our boss last year did try with our overlords to get us some more time off, but not sure anything was pressed for this year. I mean I would of been pleased with a earlier leave on Christmas eve but better would be to have today off from work. But of course the overlords were having none of it. What I can tell you for sure is our masters are definitely spending all of it and more with family enjoying the finest food and drink. We know this because ever since replying to my boss that its not happening there had been radio silence from their office, meaning nobody is there working. Still let's keep this short because I know many will still be celebrating Christmas and the holidays with their family and friends and so I wanted to wish you a fantastic day and a Merry Christmas ✨🎄 see you on the next post!
