Good day Steemian and welcome to today's Steem price update for 23/5/2022.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and recent STEEM changes for over 5 years.

If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.
And even if you are not planning to do anything with your STEEM I still recommend checking out these updates every so often.
So without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price for 23/5/2022.

The month of May and I can't believe we are reaching towards nearly the half way mark to yet another year, what makes this even harder to believe is how it's yet another month of mayhem to which I mean the war going on in the streets of the Ukraine. It continues to be a sad moment in our history as Vladimir's army doesn't stall, they instead strike fear, call treats and cast sadness into the lives of many with this ongoing war.. a war that if we are not too careful could just be what spells the beginning of the end. As for crypto we can see Steem had taken a big fall with bitcoins having it's big down wave and like this it's most unfortune that it's taken the SBD's price down along with it. But this was of course very much expected and I'm honestly surprised how long it maintained such a high price. Hopefully SBD's can hold out and return but I don't see that happening unless Bitcoins gets some recovery going on, still seeing all that cheap Steem out there for grabs as been catching my attention and definitely the interest of others as like most times before I have been beaten to that sweet $0.19 Steem deal, dammit lol. Infact I'm having trouble again getting Steem it's a shame how inconvenient and irregular it can be getting your favourite cryptos sometimes. Still the price being down I'm looking at it as a another situation for opportunity, id say if your also looking to get more Steem this might just be the best time we have had in a while. It will be interesting to see what happens next with BTC as it's hovering around the 30k mark.

So since the price of Steem was up last month and if you saved a few of those SBD's then you should be able to gain a few more SP tokens. The weather in May is a little more stabilised compared to the previous month, it started out with what seemed like a desert like climate in the sense that during the day it was warm but freezing at night. Now we are getting mix of Autumn and summer days. I was in work today for the late morning shift and while I didn't get a chance to speak with her I saw the older lady I mentioned on a previous post that she had returned to work after being gone for a very long time. Infact it was so long she was expected to return back in January and that was already a long time from when I had last seen her. Doing my usual today which like I said I'm enjoying how consistent it's been lately, I done some of the extra jobs today but really went the extra mile with one of them, I was strangely proud and waited for the moment for one of the superiors to come and complained about something else but ridiculous, but the complaint never came. What also never really came was the work because I managed to just about get out of doing most of it as I was done for the day.

Yesterday I expected to get some grief as I was off the day before, I received a bunch of calls just before the morning ended with some more attempts later. I already had plans and was out with friends and didn't want to deal with any of it. I told my friends work kept bugging me and suggested it's probably because they want me to stay alot longer when I'm next in or to go in now and help them with something. When I did get in while it was never fully confirmed "but by looking at a few indicators" it seemed pretty obvious that they wanted me to stay longer but obviously found someone else. It was abit of a strange one this Sunday at work because there seemed to have been a lot of unnecessary staff swapping, and for no real reason. I mean they even had an extra guy come in for the whole day to just move a few things around, this really seemed like a waste of money to me.. but heck what do I know. Still I was only affected once by all the swapping but it also lead me to having some extra help later, regardless of the help I still stayed for a another hour extra to help with getting things done, which I didn't mind.

Also when I was off me and some friends done some nearby exploring to a area I had not visited in a long time, there was some shops selling some tasty snacks and so later we found a good spot to chill and try some of the snacks. Unfortunately I believe the moment got spoiled by some thugs wearing balaclavas filming themselves riding on a mopped, we even saw them scream at some poor woman's face as they got close and zoomed past her. The woman looked very uncomfortable after and I don't blame her she was walking with her friend which both kept looking back incase the came again. Well it was actually my friend who pointed the incident out I didn't notice it but what I did notice was how ever bodies happy moods had dropped. So I tried asking who wanted to try some of the snacks that I had brought but nobody wanted to try them and everyone just stopped eating and talking. Soon after they suggested we go home because it was getting cold but I feel this was not the real reason they wanted to suddenly leave, so yea thanks to the idiots on their mopped you ruined the day. In one way I'm kind of annoyed at my friends letting these morons on their mopped get to them like that, because this is exactly what these sort of idiots love but I also understand as to why they were feeling uncomfortable, unsafe and wanted to leave.

The other day soon as I got in to work the girls warned me about some guy being there doing a inspection of the place. I had heard about this guy coming in before and so was not too surprised by this news but what I didn't expect was that he had just started the inspection.. which is all I needed just as I get in. I have heard from various other staff that this guy is a complete idiot and actually if we had closed down this site he would of been my new boss. Unfortunately I was not able to escape him, I was introduced to him while I was in the middle of something and busy, actually he was the one who stopped me by saying hello. It seemed like he wanted me to continue on a conversation with him but I was seriously too busy. Since the conversation didn't go anywhere I got the whole I think I have seen you somewhere before routine. Well I can honestly say he's never seen me before in he's life but unfortunately on the other hand I had seen he's many selfies which he posts on the work social media. The guy seems honestly addicted to that, he eventually let me get on with my work, think he finally realised I was busy I was also called away and so took this as a opportunity to not have to see him again. Lol I guess not exactly a great introduction to your possible future boss.

There was talk going on after what happened the other day which I admit the situation was ridiculous, so initially we saw two men running outside. Seemed like one chasing the other, they were also shouting at each other. Apparently one of the men ordered a cab, when arriving at the destination just outside our building the guy who ordered the cab got out and made a run for it without paying he's fair. The idiot decided he would try running and hiding in our build of all places, but security quickly stopped them both and threw them out. They started arguing outside and then began carefully throwing punches at each other. This didn't go on for long as the public stopped them from fighting but what a stupid thing to start a fight for. I mean firstly the guy shouldn't of tried to hide in our building pay your dam fare if you ordered a cab, secondly the cab driver himself should of phoned the police to deal with the guy for not paying he's fees, not chase him and then get into a brawl near where many families visit. I don't normally find such incidents amusing but strangely in this case I found the whole situation kind of funny. I mean who in their right mind get's up in the morning and says to themselves right I'm going to call a cab today but wont pay my fair instead I'm going to try and leg it into the nearest building when he stops the car, if he does catch-up to me ill start throwing punches.. what are these people on!? And everyday there are things like this happening at alarming levels.
