Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 23/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from all the previous early shifts. The past 4 nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by as I feel still too tired not to nap during the day, however last night was pretty close to target. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, I think I was just too tired to let anything disturb me. I woke-up hours to my scheduled alarm, I think this was because I was uncomfortable, first too hot then it was too cold. I was shocked "how I even felt too hot in the first place🤷‍♂️" as even the sheet on top of me felt ice cold. I had little doubt in my mind that for whatever reason the heating stopped working during the night again, but it was just so weird it was the heat that initially disturbed me. I was also shocked not to be awoken by our "cat alarm clock" he was in but remained quiet all night and currently going out less which is good in this weather. But it's definitely a bit of a problem that he often wakes me during the night, especially since having these very early morning shifts. Most mornings before I started doing the early morning shifts I was resting past the alarm, this was due to not going to sleep early enough or the cold making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was mostly clear, the sun was yet to fully rise, temperature wise it was cold from the start, I'm getting up unfortunately between heating sessions which means I wake-up when it's beginning to get colder again but this morning I was a little more lucky. It was a early start for me not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so like this there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was icy cold again, traffic was busy. When I got to work it seems the same nonsense from yesterday happened, it was still dark and I could see there was someone working, yesterday I couldn't recognise the silhouette. But it was my boss, who seems to be the only one I know so far who get's started with setting up task 2 even before I get there. I went to him again and asked him if he needed help with anything, like yesterday he said no but I did help really quickly with something minor. Since my boss had already started earlier this forced me also to start early, hmm perhaps this is the idea behind it haha. I checked the fire exists and began with the first task which was even less compared to previous days. Because of the early start and it being less work I was done with task 1 with still time left to spare, so I moved on to task 2 because usually I go over the limit and it's about the same amount of work from those previous days. Task 2 went just over the time and so I was not worried about task 3, well except for getting it set because it is now my responsibility since my boss taught me how to get it done yesterday. Annoyingly there were a few disturbances and system issues while I tried to do this but with my notes given to me by my boss yesterday I was able to get task 3 set on my own. I was thankfully able to get task 3 completed about 5 minutes before my time limit, while that was great I actually wanted a lot more time because of the stupid weekly tasks set for me. I have one that I need to get done for today and another that I'm still behind on from the start of the week. Regardless I was horrified to see that a task set for someone else "today" was now crossed over and instead had been assigned to me! I was furious because these tasks have been annoying me all week. The idiots think it's right that I get one every morning now, while ignoring all the other people who work here. This wouldn't be a problem on most days but sadly because I have a lot of tasks to get done on the weekly sheet I have to fight for any extra spare minutes I can to try and get all these completed. It's all a strain for peanuts but yet they expect you to just create miracles out of thin air. I think this is all still part of my punishment for being unwell on the last day that I done the extra work and so being a little slower that day. Petty it's now been 3 weeks and these sad people are still making sure I'm getting all the crap for it. All this while these idiotic superiors are fine to make up all their own lame excuses without any questions being asked. Still I was lucky to have a longer shift today because I think my boss and certain superiors had meetings to attend, and so giving me time to actually get todays weekly tasks done. The first one which was secretly 2 I had to divide up and was lucky that I didn't have much work in general, so that I could work on them more easily. The first I managed to get through quickly but during the 2nd one I had a few more disturbances with work but not a problem because of all the extra time I had today. Once that was done I spent the rest of my shift working on that extra one that was magically assigned to me now and of course because these superiors are so smart "stupid" I could tell that one of them thought I wasn't actually doing any work. She of course came to me in a sneaky way to try and catch me out but I simply told her the truth of what I was doing which was my newly given assigned task and from there she left me alone. But of course it was fine for me to see her doing clearly what was her online shopping instead of working without issues, always one rule for us and another rule for them, absolute jokers! What I found interesting is when my colleague came in he took one second to make a comment about the work I was doing, it's funny he recognised right away I was working yet the ones in charge couldn't tell, I think that says a lot really. Thankfully soon after he's arrival and signing some more annoying birthday cards it soon came to that time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it remained cloudy and decided to rain. Once I got home I decided I should finish what nature had started and had a shower. After I had to get started with some chores and vey much expected to fall asleep, but surprisingly even after the long day at work I didn't need to nap. For the quick work-outs 58 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I checked-in with my father, and then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Awards arrived a little late but winners were announced, I have a link to the post on this post below. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
