Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 20/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts. The past 3 nights however are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by as I feel still too tired not to nap during the day. When I did try to sleep there was no difficulty, this time I think I was just too tired to let anything disturb me. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which is what I want and needed. I was not awoken by our "cat alarm clock" surprisingly he was in but remained quiet until the morning, it's definitely a bit of a problem that he often wakes me during the night especially since having these very early morning shifts. Most mornings before I started doing the early morning shifts I was resting past the alarm, this was due to not going to sleep early enough or the cold making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was mostly clear, the sun was yet to fully rise, temperature wise it was icy cold, I seem to be getting up between heating sessions which is annoying because that means I wake-up when it's beginning to get colder. It was a early start for me not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so like this there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was no doubt colder again, traffic was back to being very busy not good as I thought I might get in late for work. When I got to work it was the big guy in charge, he explained he was not expected this morning to be so cold and I must admit neither was I but I guess we had been warned. He was much more quiet this morning giving me a good chance to test my timing for the 3 main tasks. While I have given myself a time for each task I have broke it down further to try and stay within my limits. Doing this gave me the chance to see earlier if I was running out of time, since that's exactly what I saw happening this morning I had to hurry with the first task. I was not able to complete the first task on time even with going at it faster which proved slightly that their workload is unrealistic. I moved on to the 2nd task and tried to catch-up there and this did happen but I still finished the 2nd task a little later than I wanted but it was ok. Or so I thought task 3 contained a little more than I expected and so I had to really hurry with that but still finished it a little late. This wouldn't be a problem on most days but sadly because I have a lot of tasks to get done on the weekly sheet I have to fight for any extra minutes I can get to try and get those done which 1 of them I'm delayed on. It was not easy but I managed to get todays weekly task completed before my shift was finished but honestly it was a strain for peanuts. But yet they expect you to just create miracles out of thin air. I was surprised to see my boss come in just before I was leaving, not only did I think he was still on holiday but he arrived earlier than usual. They are honestly taking the piss I'm assigned a task every single day that I'm in, which is just a joke am I the only person who works here now? There are other colleagues who come in at all different times during the day, yet they don't get as many of these pointless nonsense tasks?! I think it's all still part of my punishment for being unwell on the last day I done the extra work and so being a little slower, and still 2 weeks later these sad people are making sure I'm getting all the crap for it, But it's fine while these idiotic superiors are good to make up all their lame excuses without any questions being asked. Honestly I'm tempted... to write a complaint note about the "superiors" saying they are taking too long with certain tasks, this is to see how they like some of their own medicine after they done it to me. There was all manner of excuses from them when they were behind on what I needed them to do, from being too old, not knowing what day it is... and spilling their coke on the desk.... Seriously.. but if I'm a little slower because I'm unwell and the guy I was working with was old enough I'm all in the wrong. I was being over worked this shift for their crumbs and couldn't wait to leave, even if I wanted extra time to finish previous tasks.. regardless it thankfully came to that time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it remained cloudy and while it was still icy this morning was colder. Once I got home I had to get started with some chores before meeting with friends later. I wasn't too surprised considering how I was feeling this morning that between that I needed to take a nap, it was not for long, probably 1 hour or less because of people trying to call me on the phone. I continued with doing a few more things until it was time to meet with friends. For the quick work-outs 55 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I didn't check-in with my father it was too late, and then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Awards arrived a little late but winners were announced, I have a link to the post on this post below. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
