Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 17/1/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts. When I did try to sleep there was some difficulty, this was fault of the cold disturbing me, but also maybe a busy mind. I woke-up 4 hours to my scheduled alarm, this was because after I got too hot. Falling asleep moments later I was awoken again and it all had to do with our "cat alarm clock" who spend the night indoors after missing for 2 nights. Most mornings I'm resting past the alarm, sometimes I'm not going to sleep early enough, while other times the cold temperature is making getting out of bed a struggle. For the weather this morning it was dark, the sky was mostly clear, the sun was yet to fully rise, temperature wise it was cold, I might of got up just before the heating system realised it was that cold to come back on again. It was a early start for me not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so like this there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took some plastics to dispose from last nights dinner, it was no doubt cold but not like previous mornings, traffic was very busy. When I got to work the superior who knows what she's doing was the one in charge this morning. While she is the favourite of mine to do the mornings shifts with she did annoy me when I was in charge of the "extra work shifts" and so I'm more cautious around her lately. I tried to get on with the first task but she wanted helped setting up the 2nd one first because she claimed there was a lot of it this time. Well compared to what I had yesterday it was basically the same and shouldn't be a problem. I felt like too much time was spent on that before I could finally begin with the first task. Thankfully the first task was less than usual and so I was able to quickly move to task 2 which is where the bulk of what needed to be done for this shift was at. I was initially not too worried because it was basically the same amount of work I had yesterday. But like yesterday there did come a time when I had to accelerate because time was running out. I went over the time I set myself and was worried that due to a mistake "which was not done by me" that when I finished there may be some more delays while the superior sorts out the problem. But this was not the case, I told her I needed task 3 to be set and she very quickly done that. I was shocked looking at task 3, it was a pitiful amount of work, but hey I rather have than compared to a lot. Still I'm confused to why that is the case that there was not much to do, perhaps it's because I have been consistent daily with it or maybe some days are just like that. Regardless that gave me plenty of spare time this morning. I tried to be extra nice for her this morning 3 times, firstly by going to the other side of the site to get something she needed, 2 clearing up some mess that she pointed out, and thirdly I helped her patch up a leak. She didn't acknowledge any of it but it's proof to myself at least that I can often go the extra mile for that place and they don't care, but instead they put those that do put in the effort down. Which reminds me 3 times yesterday I hinted at superiors to hurry up because that is what they had done to me when I was in charge of the extra work, but I don't think they got the hint that I was playing with them at their own game. Perhaps.. and I'm tempted to.... write a complaint note about the "superiors" taking too long with certain tasks, this is to see how they like some of their own medicine. There was all manner of excuses from them, from being too old, not knowing what day it is... and spilling their coke on the desk.... Seriously but if I'm a little slower because I'm unwell and the guy I was working with was old enough to be retired years ago YET I'm the one in the wrong. I started to feel tired from this early morning shift earlier, but by then thankfully it soon came round for me to escape work😁. On the way home the sun had slightly come out, bottles of alcohol littered some of the pathways, I guess the late night drinkers were out again. Once I got home I had to get started with some chores before meeting with friends online later. I wasn't too surprised that between that I needed to take a nap, it was not for long, probably one 1 but this was because of people being loud outside. I continued with doing a few more things until it was time to meet online with friends. They all showed up but late, once we all properly started it didn't take long for my internet to start playing up and go completely down for like 25 minutes. For the quick work-outs 52 days since my last one but they are going to have to wait longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I didn't' check-in with my father it was too late, then I settled for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Learning Challenge Season 22 Week 4 is underway this is a opportunity for users to learn and earn STEEM. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
