Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 14/2/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Feb 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by, but I'm not napping during the day anymore which is great, still it's best to have a healthy amount of sleep. There have only been 2 nights where I went to sleep at the most optimal time since doing these early shifts. When I did try to sleep the cold made it initially a little difficult. I woke-up a few hours to my scheduled alarm, this was due to trouble regulating my temperature regardless of trying a bunch of things. Also our "cat alarm clock" as mostly been sleeping indoors during the night and will usually be quiet at night until lately. He as began mewing during the night again, this is almost similar to when he initially stayed with us which he was being very loud. This is not great due to these early morning shifts, he protests during the night for not being allowed out during the day. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was cloudy, temperature wise it was cold from the beginning. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was cold again but slightly better than yesterday and I'm sure definitely brighter, traffic was not too busy except on a particular road which was annoying me. When I got to work it was my 2nd favourite superior who I would be working with, I was surprised and didn't expect it to be her. I'm surprised with getting there a little earlier and still I was not seeing our colleague for setting us up with task2. Usually they are always there before me but I prefer it this way, there was no cleaner in sight however he it seems he is now working a later shift. I checked the fire doors and got started with task1, there was just over more than usual which I began to start expecting because it seems Valentines Day is still very a live and strong regardless of peoples financial struggles. With this in mind I spent no time taking it easy and mostly rushed task1 like this I completed it with only 2 minutes remaining. I moved straight to task2 there was definitely more to deal with than usual, and while there was more I was still surprised to see the superior help me get this task done towards the end. However when I initially arrived I noticed yesterdays extra work was still left so there is no doubt that will be my next job after all 3 tasks are completed. So while it seemed like she was being helpful the truth is she would rather help me get this one faster in hopes she won't have to do any of the extra work which was not surprising because what was left is horrid. Clearly I got no love from the guys today leaving me this horrid work to get done. Task2 was completed with likely just over 15 minutes to spare, that's great but I know it won't be enough time for all the extra work. Still I was not worried because task3 lately as been good to me. Well I kind of expected Task3 to give me trouble today but I was wrong it was way under what I would expect. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks added to get done. I had one of course for the week but this was already completed by one of my colleagues who was awesome enough to get it done for me without even taking the credit for it. Like this I was able to focus on the extra work and gosh was it horrible it was all the more time consuming parts left. I was not able to get it completed on time for my shift even going over by 16 minutes there was still a few things left that the superior will have to deal with which I'm sure she won't be pleased about but honestly if she had just giving me a 10 minute boost of help at the beginning it would of been done. I was wondering if in the end there was going to be a need for me to stay a extra hour again since it was the fat superior next to arrive. But this was not the case, can't say it was mostly a good shift, the extra work not completed from yesterday made it annoying, so I was I'm glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was brighter there some good amount of sun out but still cold, so I hurried home. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I wanted to continue with the bathroom, fighting some of the mold trying to settle initially on the ceiling or to continue with cleaning the kitchen. I still need to look into booking time off work for the event with friends in a few months. Unfortunately there was again not the time for doing these things especially since I was going out to meet with friends. I was not looking forward to going out again due to the cold but I got used to it eventually. We all ended up watching the Lara Croft anime, it was initially rather disappointing but got much better after the 3rd episode. Coming home it was freezing cold I was sure glad I packed extras to keep warm. For the quick work-outs it's been 71 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Community Curators for February arrived the winners were announced. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
