Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 11/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, this was mostly because of taking too long with dinner. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't much difficulty, while it got strangely hot at that time it wasn't enough to disturb me. Once sleeping I woke-up 1 hour to my scheduled alarm, I tried going back to sleep with little luck. But at least this time unlike yesterday I didn't somehow forget to schedule a alarm. The alarm was set for earlier than usual this was to wake-up on time for work. As for the weather this morning it was a mostly a clear sky with the sun still catching up to start shinning brightly. Like this something tells me that if this continues the sun will come out very strong later. Temperature wise sure it was already getting hot fast but at that time the heat was at a point that it was just about comfortable. Since I was up a little earlier this gave me time to get a few quick tasks done, still I had to be in work very soon. When my free time was up I skipped breakfast as I would get something in work, before leaving I changed, got my bag set and then myself ready for work. On the way to work the roads were nicely empty but that sun was getting stronger quickly, like this I was glad I decided on the summer wear. Arriving to work it seemed like we was initially under staffed but it looks like they were hiding somewhere haha. I was sad to over hear that there was extra work for this shift, I noticed someone had already clearly been looking at the stats as they were up on someone's computer screen. I took the opportunity to look over them myself. I was not happy that there was so much, especially as I feel it's likely going to be a hot one. My first task given by my boss was to get him the weekly tasks, I remember having 50% missing on one of mine. Well a miracle happened while I was away from work, haha well not really a miracle but one of the guys had completed that 50% I was missing "great😁!" saved! Once my boss was updated with all tasks I expected the extra work to already be set but this was not the case. It seems like they were running behind but I think my boss sent them over extra support and that quickly got us rolling. Being the weekend there was just too much going on for me to get much done of the extra work, plus it was getting too hot to be working. At this rate it seemed like we wouldn't get the work completed but again my boss had support to give us which I didn't expect. The rest of the team before the support also seemed doubtful, actually some were still doubtful even after but I knew with their help the work was definitely going to get completed on time, if only just. Well it seems we were very wrong..it was amazingly completed with still 1 hour and 20 minutes spare. Time dragged after that as I guess I only expected to have it completed with a few minutes to spare. I was glad when it was finally time to leave as I think the heat was making me develop a slight headache. When I left work I decided to go the gym way again likely not having learnt my lesson from last time. The previous time I went down the Gym route it was honestly a mistake as it seemed like all the crazy people were out. The worst was likely the guy who was randomly in the middle of the car park stopping me and saying he needs help and it's embarrassing. While looking at he's trousers he says he just got attacked by some people and he needs me to go and buy him a new pair of trousers "why trousers?.. well I don't know!?🤷‍♂️" it's probably better not to know. While this is happening another man also starts to approach us and asking the guy for a cigarette, I'm sorry but this whole thing sounded and looked very suspicious so I quickly ejected myself out of the situation as this is often a technique used to rob people which as unfortunately happened to me twice. But before I left him I suggested he explains what happened to the nearby stores security and that they would help him. I noticed as I said that he seemed to lose interest in the conversation which in itself is kind of suspicious. As I was heading out of the first car park I noticed the second man was perhaps following me, which is why I headed into another car park in hopes he would stop following me or that I would lose him, which it did do the trick. There were 4 other instances, yes 4 if you can believe it and all in the space of like 1 hour but that was the one I was most concerned with, seriously all the weirdos were out!! Once home I was able to get a few chores done before later I was able to join with friends online as I hope to place the ones who are not on holiday ahead so that when they leave on Monday those who are returning can catch-up. In the end we was all on together with a overlap which will be the last time until 3 weeks later where we should all be done with trips. After being online with friends where there was surprisingly much talk of the recent Olympic games I started to prepared dinner before settling in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic You can now experience this yourself and may have noticed already the changes. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
