Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 10/8/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.

August 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on June 4th and so the high season isn't done just yet. Likely you have witnessed the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate this season. And so who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient as we wait on another possible alt coin season, but what this means for now is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep just past the usual late hour, this was mostly because of getting home late after being out with friends. When I did try to reach slumber there wasn't much difficulty it was a little hot but not enough to disturb me. Once sleeping I woke-up only to messages coming in on my phone, that's right I somehow forgot to scheduled a alarm. Still the alarm would of been set for a later than usual to try and catch-up with rest and to try and force myself to improve my routine. Still I rested way past what would of been my alarm which didn't surprise me as I was tired from being out with friends. As for the weather this morning it continued similar to yesterday but strangely the sky was mostly clear from being cloudy, however the sun was strangely not that strong. Something tells me that if this continues the sun will come out very strong later. Temperature wise sure it was cooler compared to yesterday, the heat was at a point that it was comfortable. Since I didn't have to be in work the late start to the day was not much of a problem, but I hoped to finally do some catching-up with chores as these have been almost impossible lately due to work shifts. Also yesterday which was another day off from work I spent most of the day out with friends, but sadly some people didn't turn-up. I needed and promised a day for myself in which I hoped I could get many things done. The good news was I received a letter confirming most of the things I had to do for my father were in order. While I was dealing with a letter I decided to sort some of the letters I had in hopes of getting more organised. Later I was able to join with friends online as I hope to place the ones who are not on holiday ahead so that when they leave on Monday those who are returning can catch-up. My friend mention the odd people outside their house which reminded me of yesterday. When I left work I decided to go the gym way again and honestly what a mistake. It seemed like all the crazy people were out. It started with a guy who was randomly in the middle of the car park stopping me and saying he needs help and it's embarrassing. While looking at he's trousers he says he just got attacked by some people and he needs me to go and buy him a new pair of trousers "why trousers?.. I don't know!?🤷‍♂️" it's probably better not to know, still while he says this he lights up a cigarette. While this is happening another man also starts to approach us and asking the guy for a cigarette, I'm sorry but this whole thing sounded and looked very suspicious so I quickly ejected myself out of the situation. But before I did leave him I suggested for him to explain what happened to the nearby stores security and that they would help him. As I was heading out of the first car park I noticed the second man was perhaps following me. I headed into the other car park in hope he would stop following, which he did. But just as I was heading out I remembered I needed to get some cash out "argh😒" of course as I go towards the cash machine a group of young thugs come out of nowhere and go to the machines. I noticed a old man walking past also suspicious of the group and so I waited. Once they left I was finally able to lift out money but the machines had changed from when I last used them and for some reason they have many more extra steps for "cashing out" argh😡!. On the way home one of the few cars that passed me had some weird guy inside grinning, smiling and bopping he's head while constantly looking back at me, I'm thinking who the hell is this dude!? Then lastly nearly home some guy also in a car going past lowers he's window just to give me a dirty dead eyes look!? Seriously all the weirdos were out!!? After being online with friends I waited to see if my father was going to call me but likely he fell asleep again so I started to prepared dinner before settling in for the night. As for Steemit.com 📊 like I mentioned before there was some progress on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern". I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic You can now experience this yourself and may have noticed already the changes. For me personally I feel like it helps certain things stand out more, however I still feel like navigation could be improved. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN or a download site, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
