Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 1/2/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

Jan 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on December 17th and so the bull season doesn't seem to be done just yet. We mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. But sadly there's not been a lot of movement from our own token this bullrun, but what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep nicely under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also being tired from the previous early shifts. The past few nights are still a later time than what I would want to be asleep by as sometimes I feel still too tired to not nap during the day. But for the 2nd time since starting these early shifts I managed to sleep at the moment I was aiming for. When I did try to sleep the cold made it initially a little difficult, I was surprised by this because I had changed to the duvet with the highest tog rating. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm which surprised me after all the recent previous nights having issues with either being too hot or cold. This as prompted me to try and change some of the duvets around because they have different tog ratings, perhaps doing this might help me to regulate my temperature. Thankfully our "cat alarm clock" seems to no longer make noise during the night to be let out, he did however start this morning but by this time I was already awake and it seems one of the other cats was annoying him. Lately he spends more nights indoors and he's mood seems to have improved slightly since moving into the kitchen. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning was no different. For the weather it was dark but lighter than most, the sky was mostly clear, temperature wise it was cold from the start. It was another early start for me, not by choice but because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores or anything else. I done what I could, and with my free time over I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work it was very cold no rain this time, traffic was still busy but not too bad. When I got to work it was my old favourite superior, I now prefer my boss to work with, regardless I wondered why this morning she decided not to get started with excepting task2 because she had done this on previous mornings. She seemed a little more miserable this morning than usual but once we got started I began with the fire safety checks while she dealt with getting task2 set. Because she was hogging the system it was not possible for me to initially see how much work there was with task1 so I started it anyway just incase there was a lot. When I got the chance I went to check it and the amount was pitiful which I won't complain about. I had task1 completed with still a lot of time to spare but soon began with task2 because I often go over. Task2 was just under less than the usual I would expect so I could take my time with it. Task2 was completed right on time and so I moved on to getting task3 done. The 3rd and final task was also very pitiful so I took my time with it and was done with still around 16 minutes to spare. I checked to see if I had any pointless weekly tasks to get done and it seems the superior had taken the sheet down which is fine by me. I know the superiors were saying last time to do a few tasks regardless of who's name is on it but after all that nonsense with giving me all the tasks last week I felt like it was about time someone else actually done their own dam tasks simply because I'm not the only person who works here. Lately I had been fighting for any extra spare minutes or in hope that work was magically minimal so that I can complete all tasks assigned to me. Which is honestly not how work should be structured and just proves they are just expecting miracles, all a strain for peanuts. It was mostly a good shift, but slow and so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. On the way home it was brighter but I hoped for the sunshine that we had a few days ago but no luck, however compared to yesterday it was colder argh. Once I arrived home I got started with chores, I wanted to continue with the bathroom, fighting some of the mold trying to settle on the ceiling but I just didn't have the time to get that far if I was going to still meet with friends. After getting the main things done which was surprisingly faster than I expected I began getting ready to leave the house again to meet with friends. The meet-up was a bit quieter this time but still fun however on the way home it was very icy cold. For the quick work-outs it's been 63 days since my last one but it's going to have to keep waiting longer because of what I think is the flu continually trying to take over. Lastly I started to prepare dinner, I didn't check-in with my father, and then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the Steemit Awards arrived a little late but winners were announced, I have a link to the post on this post below. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. This was part of the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards. I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. You can recover any funds by creating a new tron account with TronLink and then adding the Steem generated TRX account to that newly created account. I still think we should of kept the TRX wallet functional if you agree on keeping the TRXwallet you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
